you need to take ur child to a therapist. this is not a good sign. if my daughter did something like this, i would have a good long talk to her about it and then if it seems that she is a little ...i want to say odd but its not the word im looking for exactly, then we will take some time to go to a therapist and make sure she doesnt do something like this to a real person and not understand what shes doing.

speak with your pediatrician for reassurance. Something like this can be very traumatic. Most children go through phases with imaginary friends and this is very healthy for the child, however what is not so normal is her morbid thoughts concerning death and gory details. When children tell you that their imaginary friend did something and they did not it is often a sign that the child does not accept their friend is not real. Cutting a doll open and laughing can be scary for you to witness. Do not tell her her friend is not real or punish her, this can sometimes have an adverse affect. After speaking with your pediatrician going to church may make you feel better. Find a small personal church in your area. Please encourage your daughter to spend time with her real friends and tell her that it is not healthy to be awake @ 2 in the morning (this will hopefully keep her interactions with "lucky" under your supervision). If you wish you may want to ask her to sleep in your room for a time. Make it like a slumber party and so she will enjoy it. Above all make sure she is not lonely at home and have a conversation with her and your spouse regarding what she did that night. Some perversions are common with child playtoys but violence is a possible sign of some subconcious turmoil. Rest assured that your daughter is a loving child who might have made a mistake, she is not possesed.

Wow, that is really scary! It's hard to say whether you need a psychiatrist, therapist, priest, exorcist, or sleep specialist. My first impression when I read your question was that she was sleep walking. I think it's highly unlikely that there was a little boy ghost named lucy who took spaghetti out of the trash. Of course your daughter took it out of the trash and put it inside the doll. I would start with a clinical psychologist, and see what they recommend. They seem to be the best experts on matters of the mind. If she needs help with sleep walking, they'll direct you over to a sleep specialist. It may help to have the house blessed or something like that. Just to bring in a positive influence regardless of whether it was really something from the other side.
Does your daughter remember it? I wonder what she would say about it now.

Yes, very scary, I can agree.
Bout a year ago my 6 year old did something similar. It was about 1am and I heard him laughing hysterically. Worried, I ran into his bedroom to find him of all things, laughing at a stuffed dinosaur that had its arms cut off and threw on the floor.
I tried to calm him down, when I did he told me that a little girl that was dead got her arms ripped off and threw in a dumpster. He said he told her to do it, "so don't put me in the corner mommy, cause she wanted to show me, please, I love her."
I was FREAKED out. Then, the inevitable happened. He started choking, and when he caught his breath he mumbled "I should have never told you, damn it!!"
I Immediately that morning took him to the shrink, went to our church, had our house blessed and had a ceremony to relieve all "spirits" or what ever was hurting my son.
Sweetie, do whatever it takes to get this under control. We have had nothing happen since. I know how you feel. And if the need be, join a church, but just help your little girl.
If you want to talk more feel free to e-mail me at angelbabycyler1@yahoo.com, yes, I do have email, just not listed on my answer thingy.
Please, I want to know how things turn out. I had to go through this. If all else fails, go to relatives home for a week. Good luck and bless you and your family!!!

Wow. Scary. I agree with some of the posts on here, believe it or not, that your child may have had a visitor. Children are very prone to seeing spirits. Perhaps she was sleep walking though. I would call a doctor and priest just to be cautious. It will be OK.....

dont know if you believe or not, but sounds like your daughter has a ghostly friend. Children are more open to such things than grown ups. Watch Montel Williams on Wednesdays. Sylvia Brown is always on there then and according to her, you need to tell "lucky" he is dead and to go to the white light and some other stuff , watch it. That may help
good luck

i was watching this thing on the discovery channel about a boy who was haunted by a demon (ghost, evil spirit, whatever) that, over a course of time, caused the boys personality to change drastically. he became increasingly uncooperative, eventually very dangerous...tried to kill the cat etc. his parents didn't believe him until the mom experienced something for herself. it was rather irritating to watch because no one DID ANYTHING until the kid was ready to kill something. if you believe in this sort of thing...which, i do but i don't believe in the ghosts of dead people coming back to haunt...whatever...anyway, a priest couldn't hurt. maybe it is psychological. maybe the two are connected...psychology and spirituality. either way, don't brush it off. that's really disturbing. god, yeah. um...if it were me i think i'd call the priest, bless the house, get some holy water and crucifixes etc, send her to therapy too.... that just wouldn't go over well with me.

Sounds like night terrors....I watched a show on sleep disorders the other day. But then again, they say kids can "see" things we can't.....I would definately go to your pediatrician and see what kind of referral they give you for counseling, etc. If you can stay awake, try watching her sleep and see if she's moving or talking while dreaming...don't know. Good luck!

First don't freak out and immediately call and speak with her pediatrician. I am a big fan of utilizing the Dr. they always know what's best for children. Good luck. Keep us posted.

That is truly scary. It gave me the chills thinking about it. I would suggest a child therapist or psychologist. That is serious. Sit her down and talk to her about who's Lucy and why did he die and if she was making him up.
