My friend is trying to get me to go out with this guy I like, and she asked him if he had a valentine? He said no. And she told him, he has a secret admirer. He knows it's me. She asked him if he was interested and he said why not? The only problem is on his myspace account his status is in a relationship. I need to know whether to move on. I think I should move on. Why would he be interested to go out when he has someone? Could he have answered he was interested only to be nice? And I think that if he was into me he would ask me out? Do you agree? Please answer. I need plenty of good advice.

But, I'll answer your question as honestly as possible with the information you've given.
Seems like he probably wouldn't mind another partner (ahem, for sex, if you're old enough), especially since his myspace says he's taken. So, you make the call--either you go for it and not expect more than a one night stand, or you hang back and realize your worth more than this conniving guy is ready to offer. Then, you pamper yourself for doing what's best for you and call it a day.

Some guys might not always know how to ask someone out.. So you making the first move is okay. As for being in a relationship already, Ask him and tell him you read his Myspace about a relationship.. Then see if he changes his status. If he's dating someone else, he's a loser for telling your friend he's interested too.

Maybe he just said that he was in a relationship on the myspace account just so that random people wouldn't just ask him out online. i know plenty of people that say they are in a relationship when they really aren't. Ask him yourself if he really is in a relationship. Don't be so hard on yourself! Do you talk to him at all? Does he know you? Try talking to him as much as possible(without following him everywhere) before Valentines Day comes.

His myspace might not be telling 100% truth. If he was, it'd be very dangerous. So he might've said he;s in a relationship, but it doesn't necessarily mean he really is in one. Did you ever notice if he made any moves or contact with you, during and after school? Maybe you feel that he likes you, or he's just being polite. Go with your instincts, girl. Good luck.

It is conceivable that he has not updated his myspace lately? Yes, if he's interested he'll ask you. He could very well say he's interested to be nice. On the other hand, it won't hurt a THING to be quite friendly toward him.

If he was interested and into you, he would ask you out. It could also be he is seeing someone, but his current relationship is on the rocks or for whatever reason he can't be with his 'other'. If you want to move on and not deal with the drama that may or may not come with him, don't be surprised if you do move on and he comes back later.

No don't move on. You need to give it a go with this guy, even though his myspace account says he is taken. Trust me, not all guys go and fix their accounts, you have to keep reminding them. my fiancee hates to fix his page. so yeah, try this thing out and see if it works, and if it don't, then you'll find someone who is better.

Maybe he broke up with his girlfriend a while ago, he just forgot to change his status back. Find out if he has a girlfriend. If he does, stick around and maybe something will happen to you two sometime in the future.

well if you don't really like him that much then yes move on. but if you really like him ask him yourself if he is going out with someone. and tell him that you saw his myspace account.
