I know that it means "You smell good."

But I'm not finding the infinitive form of the verb in ym dictionary. Is this an irregular verb?

Obviously it must be an "er" verb, but I don't see "hueler" in the dictionary.

The dictionary only has "olar", which means "to smell", but that's not Hueler.

Can someone explain the word "hueles"?

The infinitive form is oler, to smell. The sentence means, "You smell nice." Also could be, "You smell pretty/beautiful."

Hueles means you my friend, tu, smell: you smell. If in a question, it would mean, "Do you smell?" Remember, this is the tu form, for a friend.

Oler, though most people think it's irregular, technically is a stem changing verb. This means that the main part of the verb changes in oder to be in agreement with certain grammatical concepts, as with the verb venir for example. The ven changes to vien when the verb is conjugated in the present tense. The stem of oler is ol and this changes to huel in all but the vosotros form of the present tense conjugations. I hope I haven't confused you, but I don't know another way to explaiin this. It can be confusing and I recommend you learn it the same way a child learns it. Memorize it and use it. Don't try to make sense of it until after you can use it well. Then the reasoning will penetrate and you'll understand, just a children learn whatever their native languages are.

Good luck.
