I know a girl who is obese, and is finding it really hard to lose weight. I've suggested avoiding stimulants, going vegeterian and drinking LOTS of water, along with very gentle exercise - is that okay, what should I look out for, and what else can I do to help improve her confidence?

The girl in question is my best mates' girlfriend. I'm trying to supply 'good advice'. Please help me, i'm a guy.

You have some good suggestions, stay away from stimulants and water are great. If she likes the vegetarian diet idea, that also works well. And of course, exercise is a big part of any weight loss plan.

Eating smaller portions, and healthier in general is a good way to start.

Also, having some support and good advice from a friend like you will help too. When you notice that she has lost a few pounds, congratulate her and encourage her that she is on the right path.

She become round 8 months pregnant.. So now i attempt to stay remote from salty nutrients, i do not continually be triumphant although. it is also good because as pregnant women folk we are more suitable in all probability to maintain water & swell up on the fingers & ft & with a eating regimen low in sodium this may take position a lot less.. i counsel you drink a lot of water too, i attempt to attempt this & i have self belief i'm doing a good pastime because my wedding ceremony ring nonetheless matches completely =] God Bless <3 LOL, ''cankles'' take position plenty in being pregnant, although that is way worse in case you eat a lot of salt & do not drink adequate water

Count calories, it's tedious, but you don't eat nearly as large portions if you know it's being recorded.

Just be really supportive of her, compliment her if she's losing weight. Go on walks and other sorts of excercise together and it'll become more fun and less like a chore.
