While they will be able to tell if there is liver damage, they will not be able to tell when you drank last. Good luck
To clarify a previous answer, liver transplants are done for people with alcohol induced cirrhosis but only if they have been sober for at least year and are willing to sign a contract stating they will continue to remain sober.

That depends on how soon after you drank the beer, when the doctor will see you again, or when the biopsy is scheduled. Tell the doctor you drank the beer. If you are going for a liver biopsy because of cirrhosis then it's likely that there has been much damage to your liver. But I'm just guessing. I'm no doctor!

While the general advise has been to not drink any alcohol during pregnancy, this is taking a vary cautious approach. This is a better safe than sorry position on the subject. The biggest risk is during the first trimester. The link below even shows studies where light drinkers had no problems with their pregnancies. The odds are good that your child will be fine , but to be safe lay off the booze until after giving birth AND breastfeeding. The biggest thing that worries me is you drinking 3 beers at one time, once a week. The concentration of alcohol might be too high. You also didn't say if you have been doing this the whole pregnancy. If so, you did the most harm early on.

i have problems not drinking too! I almost drank today. But thought about the pain in my liver. I don't even go to the doctor. I just know I can't keep drinking and keep living. To answer your question. 6 beers, no. But you must know if there doing liver biopsys on you, you're going to either die drinking or quit drinking and live. I'm just like you. I'm not a non drinker telling you you're no good. I know how hard it is.

You did not say when or how many at a time when you drank those beers. It takes about 3 months to get your red blood cells back in shape from the anemia you probably had.

no, they can't tell when, but you are facing serious problems ahead and although you can't reverse the situation your drinking will progress the disease...Hepatitis? cirrosis? what have you been diagnosed with. there are medications available, but no cure. eventually leading to death unless you have a transplant which still requires medication and lots of doctor visits...no hope of a transplant if you drink though, you won't qualify because it was self inflicted..good luck to ya
