I just made the weirdest thing last week that turned out to be pretty tasty. Curley-cue pasta with a sauce made in a food processor of green olives, olive oil, and a little honey. It was a thicker consistency than a sauce, like pesto, so I mixed it into the pasta before serving. Added a bit of pepper and parmesan cheese on top, and it was really good!
I also came up with this one earlier this week when I wanted something sweet but didn't want to go to the store. So, I used what I had around the house, and threw it all in a food processor:
Chop up the following in a food processor first:
1 square of bakers chocolate (can use carob if you're vegan)
Handful of raw almonds
Then add honey, and continue blending. Should be sort of a stiff paste consistency.
Then add a little bit of vanilla, and cinnamon to taste.
Then I rolled them into a ball, sort of like a truffle. Mmmm.

I've made a recipe of vanilla cookies but they crackel and have a good crisp to them, not anything like store bought cookies... I sprinkle some granulated sugar on them the instant they come out the oven and they are perfect! Dont ever be afraid to experiment with your own recipies, thats what cooking is all about!!!

I have, of various things. Usually I start w/ a basic recipe, dont' like it, but tweak and make, tweak and make until it is just how I want it to be.
Here's a couple of them:
Sugar Pie's Blueberry-Stuffed French Toast Casserole
Nonstick cooking spray
9 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
¼ cup melted butter
½ cup maple syrup
12 cups cubed stale French bread
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, cut into small cubes
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
Blueberry Syrup or maple syrup (optional)
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 3-quart rectangular baking dish with cooking spray; set aside.
In a smaller bowl combine eggs, milk, butter, and the ½ cup maple syrup. Whisk until combined. Place bread cubes in large bowl; add cream cheese and the blueberries. Slowly pour the egg mixture over blueberry-and-bread mixture; gently fold mixture to evenly moisten the bread. Pour into greased casserole dish.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. If necessary, cover with foil the last 10 minutes of baking to prevent overbrowning. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Cut in squares. Serve with Blueberry Syrup or additional maple syrup, if desired. Makes 12 servings.
______________
Sugar Pie's Corndogs
2 lbs. hot dogs
1 Tbsp. flour
2 ¼ cups Bisquik
5 Tbsp. yellow corn meal
1 tsp. onion powder
2 eggs
1½ cups milk
Prepare hot dogs by laying on paper towels and rolling to dry them. Dust lightly w/ 1 Tbsp. flour, rolling hot dogs to coat evenly. Shake off excess flour. Insert bamboo skewers half-way into each hot dog.
Whisk all batter ingredients together in a tall pitcher (this facilitates coating).
Dip floured hot dogs into batter, sealing at stick. Fry 2-3 at a time in 375ºF oil (or Fry Daddy). Rotate regularly to evenly brown, or submerge w/ spider for a minute or so. Overall cooking time is generally under 2 minutes. Remove from oil and drain on a wire rack placed over a cookie sheet.

like spaghetti? make your own sauce.
hamburger( or turkey burger), onion(finely chopped), celery(finely chopped) ketchup, a pinch of salt, bell peppers(finely chopped)
brown hamburger first(drain excess oil) add veggies and blend together finally add the ketchup. its very simple.
and if you are on a health kick instead of regular past, use a spaghetti squash. ( it is really tasty and its good for diabetics too)

I usually will give my own recipes on here, unless of course they are my signature dishes and then nobody will ever know. BTW, what are normal people? Did you want a recipe?
I love my eggplant parmesean, but I don't know if I am normal, since culinary is my industry? :o)
EGGPLANT PARMESAN
(serves 4)
Ingredients:1 Large Eggplant
1 Bunch Basil
1 Bulb Garlic
3 Roma Tomato’s or 1.5 cups of ripe Cherry Tomato’s
Olive Oil
Dried Oregano
1 12 oz Can of Stewed Peeled Tomato’s
Red Wine Vinegar
Onion
Kosher Salt
Ground Black Pepper
Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Equipment:1 Medium Saucepan
1 Pyrex Dish- Small to Medium Square or Round
1 ½ sheet pan (aluminum is fine)
Hand Mixer or Blender
1 Frying Pan
Directions:Heat oven to 325Û« F, Dice Roma tomato’s and put on sheet pan, sprinkle with salt. Add 10 cloves of garlic, and sprinkle with salt. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in oven for 10 minutes.
Slice eggplant into ½ inch thick rounds and lightly sprinkle with kosher salt on both sides. Set aside on paper towel for 10 minutes, so water can be leeched out. Gently rinse of salt and pat dry.
Slice ½ onion and in a medium sauce pan sweat the onions in some olive oil with a medium to low temperature until tender and slightly transparent.
Add can of stewed tomato’s to onion’s in pot, pinch of oregano, 2 TBS of Red Wine Vinegar (1 TBS of Balsamic, if you don’t have red wine vinegar), 8 large Basil leaves and let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
While sauce is simmering, fry eggplant rounds in olive oil until browned and tender on each side. Set aside on paper towel.
Remove roasted tomatos and garlic from oven. Remove cloves of garlic and squeeze roasted garlic into sauce, while disgarding the skins. Scrape roasted tomatos and all juices from pan into sauce and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
With a hand mixer, puree sauce in pot or transfer to a blender and puree to desired consistency. Put back in pot and season to taste with salt, pepper and honey. Let the flavors combine on a low temperature setting on the stove for another 10 minutes.
With a spoon, spoon out sauce and put a thin layer to cover bottom of baking pan (preferably a Pyrex glass dish). Put one layer of eggplant rounds on top of sauce. Add a thin layer of sauce on top of eggplant. Cover with shredded Parmesan cheese. Repeat layering with eggplant. Put a generous portion of sauce on top of second layer of eggplant and put in oven. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes. Pull eggplant out and spoon a little more sauce on and sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese and put back in the oven for 3 minutes or until desired browning.
***Optional*** In-between eggplant layers, put one basil lleaf
