Good question. Troops are little pansies that do whatever the government wants without any consideration as to right or wrong. Little president's puppets. Check out the Korean mess, the Vientam mess, the Kosovo mess, Ther persian gulf mess, all the other disasters the government decided was the right thing to do! Who pulled off the disasters? The only reason a person joins the service is to break things and kill people and get paid for it. Then when they arrive home they are 'veterans' and never let you forget that for a moment, even if they only dug a latrine in the service! Screw the troops!!!

for one your rationalization is wrong lets look at this for a second "support the troops" in this we can all agreee the meaning as the population supporting the men in uniform
well then why in your support statement to the question do you say if all the "military men" that fought for Nazi Germany....
This is not supporting the troops this was either germans that vollentured or was told to serve but in no way shape or form did you mention the population of germany supporting or not supporting the Nazi troops. So whats your point.... ohhh i get it your another uninformed anti-war anti-american anti-troops Anti person. oh well your lack of corrcet information just makes your side of the coin that much anti-beliveable

Are you comparing our president to Hitler or our troops to Nazi's? If that's the case, you've only shown your ignorance. You evidently don't understand what it's like to be in the military. We swear to uphold the "freedom" of our nation under the president the "people" elect. We don't exterminate people for their race or religion. I am getting far to angry at this point to continue this answer. I sincerely hope you pull your head out of the left corner of your a## someday, hopefully before you are old enough to vote
Don L - Get back to your crayons...if anyone's a pansy that would be you. Look at how jealous you are of servicemen!! What a pathetic human being you must be. I would dig a latrine for free just to throw you in it. I'm not a big girl but I'm thinking that wouldn't matter. Enjoy the freedom you've never earned you pansy-candy a## @#$^%$&*^(*^$$# lol

I get the question. We should all support the troops and do what we can to ensure that they are sent to do the right mission.
Your point about military men saying no to their leaders is an important one....but imagine if our military men did actually say no to the elected officials of this nation and did as they pleased. That wouldn't be a very good thing.
It is our responsibility as the citizens of this nation to make sure that our troops are given the proper missions for defending this country and themselves.
They are counting on us...

Is this question a joke? I served in the military for 8 years. Four of the 8 years were overseas. There is so much that the military does that you don't even realize. It is not just about wars, I was sent to help folks after Hurricane Katrina. This is what kills me about people like you. You are small minded and very shallow! Read a book about history and be glad that you can make such a stupid posting!

We support our troops because they're just doing their jobs. My husband is deployed right now. He didn't join to go fight. He joined because the military provided a stable job and stable income for our family. He joined before the war, and his 5 year contract isn't up yet. You don't have to support the war, but our troops need the support.

So let me get this straight...you're comparing American soldiers to the Nazis? You can't be serious. Anyone making that comparison doesn't deserve the freedoms our military personnel have made over the past 230 years. I hope for all our sakes that you are NOT an American.
Good God. We really *are* going to hell in a hand basket.
Hey, little Donny-boy - I'll give you $5000 to walk into a bar full of marines and say that - I have to witness the much-needed ***-kicking you'll get, or no deal.

...and if the Allies hadn't risked all to stand up to Hitler then the Nazis would STILL be powerful.
Thank God for our troops - defending freedom still today!
