Count your blessings. Instead of counting the things you think "suck", count your blessings. You can surely find some. Let me help. Do you have your eyesight? your hearing? Did the sun come up today? See if you can make someone else smile. Make their day. Help someone else, even if it's just smiling at them when they look at you. Try volunteering your time somewhere. Nothing like helping those in need to make you aware of the riches you have in your own life.

I clicked your logo face, did a little nosing and read most of your questions and answers (over 5000 and you had a 9 per cent BEST ANSWER ratio - that is excellent). You are evidently a middle or high school student. You are certainly not stupid. You are just young. What you are feeling 90% of kids feel. It will past. Sooner if you want it to, and later if you subconsciously get some kind of internal self rewarding satisfaction by wallowing around being despondent. But you will get over it and discover how wonderful life really is. But it want come to you, you will have to go out and snatch it. There is only one you on the face of the earth. No one is like you, you are not like anyone else. Life is only real when you see that. Life is full of pleasures and equally full of pains. You cannot escape either. When this becomes apparent to you, you will be able to handle anything. It's like try all the food on the table. You will get a full life when you do. You are in the dramatic years but they will pass. Stuff your head full of knowledge, old school knowledge that is meaningful to mankind, and you will benefit you brainpower and you will zoom out of the doldrums instead of crawl out. Get a copy of the 60's song Hang On Sloopy and make it your anthem. You will be fine and look back and laugh at yourself like everyone else who aged has. The best is always ahead. And ahead is the only road in town. There aren't any other roads. You can't stand still. You can't go back. So get with it - now. Best wishes, good luck.

I am sure lots of people are going to tell you negative things. At the moment it seems like you are emotional/stuck in a rut and have no desire to look at the good things in your life and only focus on the negative. I could say go see a therapist and get meds, but that is going about 90% of your answers. It may really be hard, but you need to think about what actually is it that is bothering you. Write it down on paper and make a goal sheet. (i.e) your job...so you write this down and give your self a month to find a new one etc... Once you have completed your list of goals not only will you feel like you are in a better place in life but you have actually made the efforts to get through them and accomplish them...
P.S. I have General Anxiext Disorder/Depression and don't take meds.

Your life does not suck. You need to reevaluate your life, and think about things. What is wrong with your personality? You should be yourself. If you don't like the way your life is going, then change it. What life do you want? I know how you feel, I barely have confidence too. Do you have a problem with your body, or is it something else? If its your body, work out, eat better. Don't know your age, but you should talk to some family or your guidance counselor.

You need to find something that you enjoy doing, and thrive on that. Don't worry about what other people think of you. The world is full of of ignorant people, and they don't deserve to have the thrill of making others feel bad. Join a club of some kind in our area that you would be interested in. If you are interested in it, the other people there are going to be too, and you might meet some really interesting people you can become good friends with.

Find a hobby, a passion, and something you live for, besides eating sleeping and breathing, lol. Talk to ppl who share your interests and make some goals. And life doesn't just stop, why do you think everyone is here on this planet? Maybe you should go exercise too. It'll boost up your confidence and make you feel alot better physically and mentally. Do something you enjoy most!

I use to feel that way for years, but one day the pain and sadness became too much so I went to the hospital. I was put on Effexor and Lorazipam to help with the feelings. After a couple of weeks on the medication I began to feel much better - I wasn't depressed and I actually felt good about myself! I've been on the medication now for 2 years and I feel wonderful. You should see your doctor and tell him/her how you feel - they can help! Best wishes to you!

I find that if you offer your time to help others, it will help you feel like life is more rewarding.
things like
1. volunteer to be a classroom aide at a local elementary school.
2. visit a nursing home to talk with the elderly. (they love talking to young people)
3. call your local Habitat for Humanity office and see if they can use your help.
4. call Big Brothers/Big Sisters in your area to help troubled youth or those awaiting for a foster home
Not only will you help others, but will meet new friends and develop social skills which will in turn give you confidence

Focus on the things that you do enjoy, even if they seem trivial. For example, I love my bed, I think it's soo comfortable so I look forward to getting into bed in the evenings. And, I really love chocolate so when I'm feeling down I go to the bakery and get a chocolate cheese cake.
