the fern Ophioglossum reticulatum (found in the Kimberley region of Western Australia) has 630 pairs of chromosome (1260 in total)

Well that has been answered, but here's another neat fact. A particular lily, Fritillaria assyrica, has the largest genome at 1.3*10^11 base pairs - that's the most DNA in any plant!
