I am going to buy a video camera, and I need help. First off I am looking at the new sony dcr hc 48, but it has only one ccd and it is 1/6".I I think min-dv is probably the best. I was also looking at the panasonic pv-gs 300, because it has 3ccd's. I am looking for something under 650$, what do you recommend?

I would definitely recommend the pv-gs300 over the sony. It is a fantastic camcorder. If your budget is $650, shop around on the internet. You can even find the pv-gs500 for under $650.
