This is a reply to Mark B.

Well yes many of you may wonder why God would send his son to die for us. Now I know many of you probably don't believe he is the son of God but I believe he is and if he is perfect and the son of God like he says then I have an answer to why would he be tortured to save us.

The answer is he never sinned once in his life nothing was wrong you could find no fault in him and this made him the perfect sacrifice and gave him the ability to carry the sins of the world past, present, and future on his shoulders allowing us to be saved and to be able to enter into heaven through acceptance of the fact that Jesus was the son of God.

The answer to Mark's second question

Well the answer is that he isn't insecure if you were God and you had the choice of being alone in nothingness for eternity or creating humans to have an intimate relationship with would u rather be lonely forever or have relationships with others though they may be inferior to you? Prayer is a way for us to develop a relationship with God and the Bible is his way of talking to you. The reason other people wrot ethe book is because they were passionate about what they believed about God and Jesus and had an intimate relationship with them. The Bible WILL be interpretted different by everyone who reads it and that is the way it is suppose to be, because each person has a different lesson to learn and God speaks to them through what they take from what is said in the Bible.

the above reply is answering Mark B's 2 and 3rd question not only the second one.

This is in reply to Betty Boop's question

Well because only Christians believe Jesus was the son of God no other religion believes that Muslims believe he was just a prophet and Jews just believe that he was a good man even though they had a prophecy of the son of God coming to die for thier sins they did not believe that Jesus was the one. It says in the Bible that we are to believe whole heartedly that Jesus is the son of God and that he died to pay for all of our sins allowing us to attain salvation as long as we truely believe that he came to save us by dying on the cross and that he is the son of God.

If god is really so Superior then why would his son have to be tortured to save us..?
Why is he so insecure that he needs us to pray to him?
Why does not do his own teaching but just leave a BOOK not written by him for everone to try and under stand?

There is no confusion if we use sound reasoning and truly believe what the Bible tells us.
What does the Bible teach about the soul?
It teaches us that we do not have souls, we are souls. The Bible is very clear about this. At Genesis 2:7 it says: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." (So Adam became a soul or a person.)
Leviticus 5:4: "Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these." (A soul can swear)
Leviticus 7:27: "Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people." (A soul can eat)
Leviticus 22:11: "But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat." (Animals are souls too.)
Leviticus 23:30: "And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people." (Souls can work and be destroyed)
Ezekiel 18:4: "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." Also Ezekiel 18:20: " The soul that sinneth, it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him." Also Revelation 16:3: " And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, even the things that were in the sea." (A soul is not immortal--it dies)

extremely real. ' Anomaly ' explains it very appropriate. purely one little ingredient to operate,as we are all sinners anybody die. Jesus did not say we will be free from sin in our lifetime, if this were so we doesn't die "for the wages sin pays is lack of life", so if we've been free of sin we would stay consistently. Romans 6:23. The immortality of the soul is a pagan idea, hijacked by devil and got here about as a Christian training

I believe Jsesus died on the cross for our sins. I believe the whole concept is absurd and bogus, but I believe that's what he thought he was doing.
Am I going to heaven or not?

If he has already paid for my sins why do I have to be a Christian? He's not going to renege and take his payment back is he? All that blood he shed for my sins and now you are saying hes not going to pay after all. How cruel to say he has paid for my sins, and now he hasn't.

The soul is no more when we die. The spirit returns to God and the body perishes. A new soul is formed when the spirit merges with the resurrected body.
