You cant stop him from doing that. What you need to do is take him to the doctors to see if he has a small bladder because if he does that's whats making wet the bed and if the bladder small then he can't hold it in.

Alls you have to do is Don't give him anything to drink when he goes to bed unlis he gets dry throat easy. Make him use the bath before bed make him at least try even if he says he doesn't have to go. Now I don't know if you go to bed when he does or if you stay up for a few hours but how ever wake him up every 3-4 hours ( yes set your alarm so you can get up and do this ) and make him go to the bathroom that is what my mother did with me and my sisters we never once peed the bed unlis we was like super sick. Trust me it works

Depends on his age, friend.
If you are talking about a child between 6-10 years of age, I can give you a cracker jack cure.
Get a cheap alarm clock. Set the time to go off around 1am, and tell him that when he hears it, he's to turn it off, go potty, then go back to bed. It will take no time for him to adjust to this schedule, and will end the bed wetting.
Once he's adjusted and has been dry for 2 weeks, start moving the time on the alarm back by ½ hour every week. Eventually, he will be sleeping through the entire night without any problem, and it also teaches him some responsibility, to boot.

Get a bell-and-pad device. When used correctly, a signal will alert the child if the pad becomes wet. They are inexpensive and are at most drug stores. Something else to try is the opposite of what the others are saying. Give him salty or thicker foods so that he needs to drink more water. That will make it so that his bladder enlarges quicker to hold more water. Also, try talking to him and have him tell you when he needs to go to the bathroom. Try to make him hold it for a minute and them adding a minute every week until he has been able to hold it for longer periods of time.

if he is under 12 then buy him goodnites and wait. if he does not out grow it then take him to the doctors. if they find nothing wrong the just let him out grow it in his own time. I wet the bed till 16, the doctors never could do any thing about it. and limiting fluids to much can cause dehydration. you do not want tht problem.

First, check with his pediatrician to see if there is a medical reason. Second, get him something to protect him and the mattress--such as special training pants and a cover for the mattress. Third, do not embarrass him. Fourth, limit drinks in the evening.

The best you can do is try to wake him a little before the time he has accident. It is a matter of time before the bladder grows larger so he /she can hold their urine longer. Be patient it can take years but it will stop when their bladder matures.
