A lot of people keep saying that most illegal immigrants are on welfare. As far as I know, you have to be a U.S. citizen to collect welfare, food stamps, Medicaid etc… they do get medical assistance and free public schooling for their children, but that is nothing compare to all the programs out there.
About the taxes, many of them, not all, get a tax ID because they don’t have a social and pay some taxes. The ones that use fake social pay into the social security (which is a retirement system) and they can forget about ever getting a pension for it.
I think a lot of people get very personal or let their emotions control them when talking about this subject… let’s not forget that this country originally belonged to Indians.
For example: when 9/11 happen, I felt like we should had sent 10 nuclear bombs to all Arabic countries, but I later realized that I was wrong. There are a lot innocent people there that don’t have anything to do with these terrorist.

There are stages that they progress through with the end result being a huge voting block!
First is the Employers who are wanting to get undocumented "Illegal" workers on mostly construction sites.
These guys do not expect Worker's Comp Insurance, they cannot file for Unemployment, they do not cost the employer employment taxes and are easily replaced but rarely are because the worker's are on to step 2 and need the contact they found.
Stage 2, is the Anchor Baby BS. As soon as they hook-up and have an American Citizen, now they are next to impossible to deport and the baby starts the welfare money rolling!
Stage 3 is when idiots grant them citizenship, and they wind up on unemployment because the Employers are after Stage 1's.
Imported Poverty and hostile voting blocks all because our elected reps won't bust employers breaking the law and letting people here illegally have babies with a citizenship the parents do not deserve given to their illegal offspring!
Does that help!??

There are some illegals on welfare. They collect under one name and work under another. I know this just from having done "seasonal" jobs in the past where I was one of oh say maybe 5 "legal" employees. About the taxes. My neighbor prepares taxes for a living not only that but shes an instructor for a well known tax preparation company according to her illegals do not pay one red cent in taxes unless they have a stolen ssn or other "tax id" number.
P.S. What part of ILLEGAL do you not understand?

I think I understand what you are telling us & do tend to think the same way sort of. You see I know a few people that are here without a green card & they aren't doning anything else wrong. They only want to make a better life for themself & help their family out by sending them money, when they have it to send.
ON THE OTHER SIDE
I also see how things can & do go bad when a few bad ones mess up.
And yes I know how illegals can get things they shouldn't have. Been there, seen it.
NOW let's face it. Without immgration lots of us would NOT be here.
One thing for sure; it's a hard line to draw in the sand as to where I stand on this.

I disagree with your statement...that MYTH about native Americans being the only true citizens. You are undermining the fact that it was the people who came here that created the concept of the United Sates in 1776, NOT the native Americans.
When my ancestors came here it was LEGAL to do so. They worked their fingers to the bone for a better life and they didn't take welfare.
Illegals pay no taxes, commit crime, and breed multiple anchor babies and get welfare and education and medicaid for EACH child, all while accepting low pay and shabby treatment by American employers which makes it harder for an American citizen to negotiate a decent working environment.

So what's the question? Do you have to be a citizen to get welfare? No. For example, in California you can get the Medi-Cal forms and read the fine print. Undocumented immigrants can get on a special Medi-Cal program and get all their medical bills paid for just being a foreigner. Could I? No Quit whining for other people. They do plenty of that for themselves. When was the last time you stood up for an American resembling yourself?

I can understand your point, but it all comes down to the word "illegal." There are legal ways to become US citizens, and these people choose to follow a path that is against the law and could lead to punishment. It is hard to sympathize with someone who refuses to follow the rules and tries to cut ahead of the people doing things properly.

I totally agree with what you are saying, most illegals are not here to do harm they are just here to work and live a better life, why does it always got to be the illegals getting welfare when their are lots Americans that don't work and get welfare I'll bet you anything those Americans wont work in the hard manual labor that most illegals do.

Disagree because they are ruining our schools and education for our own people. We have limits for good reasons.
We are innocent, too, and our children certainly are. Why should WE be punished by perpetually paying for their children?
