I like it pretty good, but it does have some problems...ie, try getting into the backseat on the passenger side....the seats are not as comfortable, etc. I do prefer the 06, and actually bought a new 06 last month. I'm tickled with it, even though it's not a new body style.
Even then, the 07s aren't bad, and people will adjust to them.
I might add, that the 07 are much more comfortable on the highway than the older ones. Their suspension makes them more like a car than a rock-climber. Since most of us don't go offroad, this is actually a plus.

I just saw the new Jeeps at the dealership. Let me just say that I was VERY disappointed with them. I have an '87 Wrangler, and I can honestly say that the new ones didn't impress me at all. They said it was bigger...well I'm 6'3 and I fit very well into mine. I got into the new one, and smacked my head on the roll bar, and felt confined.
To outfit the new one to go where I would want to take it, would wind up costing over 30 grand.
Sorry, but I don't think it's worth it.
Plus, it really doesn't look as good as the old ones.
I also noticed that the soft top fit like crap. A Jeep is not a Jeep unless you can go topless, and this one really didn't do the trick.
I would really just spend my cash keeping mine on the road(or off it) than I would spending all that cash on what is really nothing more than a road only grocery getter.
I really liked the idea of an extended Jeep, but the Scrambler is no longer here.

I don't like the body style personally. I think Jeep ruined a classic body style by adding in the full length doors. Now, it looks like a soccer-mom-mobile!
