Jesus told his deciples that John the baptist was ELIAS reborn. see matt. 11-14/15, 17-10/13, & 22-32. Also find in the new testament, that Johns mother was Elias's wife reborn. I do not believe the book of John , 1John , or 11john are written by john the baptist.

,Peace be to this house (Luke 10:5) ======================== No, to be reincarnated is to have your spirit return to your dead body, it was an example given by Jesus to show that it is the spirit that gives life to the flesh as in the case of Lazarus, Jesus Himself and those others that were reincarnated. John the Baptist and the rich man were not reincarnated, they were "born again" as Nicodemus who was a Jewish ruler, a Pharisee trained as a teacher of Jewish laws had to be, because he could not let go of his Jewish traditions and doctrines. Jesus talked about what happens when a person is "born again" in Luke 11:24-26 and Matt 12:43-45, but because of the teachings of the churches and the fact that those who call themselves christians follow the teachings of Peter, Paul, James, and Timothy and not Jesus have let false prophets deceive them, they must also be born again, but for these to be born again will only make it worse. If you are one of the chosen, when you read Matthew 5:17-19, you would also hear the words of Matthew 11:7-15 and the words of John 1:17-23 and understand who John the Baptist was, is and will be. Jesus said, of the elect, you have been told the mysteries of heaven that have been hidden since the beginning, THEY have not. Jesus said, if they come to me, believe and do, I will heal them and they shall also know the truth and the truth shall make them free from sinning, if they believe and DO as I have commanded them. ======================== Remember Mary sister of Lazarus, for she anointed Jesus at the hour of His death. (Matthew 26:13, John 11:1-2, and Luke 10:38-42) --------------------------------------... I am not a Christian, Muslim or Jew; I do not follow the teachings of Peter, Paul, Moses, the Prophets or any physical church (Acts 11:26, Genesis 32:28). --------------------------------------... I am a disciple of Jesus, (John 15:7-8); I follow only the teachings of Jesus. I not only read each and every word Jesus spoke, I do all the things Jesus Himself told me to do, John 14:21-26). My teachers are the Holy Ghost and the Spirit of Truth, only. --------------------------------------... Because I do these things, I have become a member of the invisible church Jesus made for his Father without hands, John 2:19. .

John the Baptist was not Elijah and he knew this and it is why he said he was not Elijah. The name Elias is another way of saying Elijah. Jesus said John came with the spirit and power of Elijah Luke 1.17. There is no reborn or reincarnation in Christianity or Judaism, as it is given to us all to be born once and to die once according to Scripture (Hebrews 9.27). John's father Zecharias knew his son John was the one who would be announcing the Christ fulfilling a prophecy made by Isaiah (40.3-8) and Malachi 3.1 as recorded in Luke 1. 67-79. Is it possible to have the power and spirit of another? Evidently. Elisha (Elijah was his mentor) wanted Elijah's mantle and he also asked for a double dose of Elijah's power...and got it. Too bad he did not know how to use that much power that was granted to him. He died an ugly lingering death. BTW John the Baptist never wrote any of the Bible cannon. Elizabeth was not a reincarnate of anybody's former wife. She was of Levitical heritage and married to a Levitical priest who was John's daddy. The John the beloved disciple (the little brother of James Zebedee) who wrote the Gospel of John and the epistles (letters)of John (1,2,3) as well as the (prophecy) Book of Revelation had started out being a disciple of John the Baptist along with Andrew (the brother of Peter). He knew John the Baptist but was not John the Baptist, He and Andrew left being disciples of John the Baptist with his full blessings after John the Baptist told them He (Christ) was the one he had been speaking of (being the Lamb of God). Elijah is known to be one of the two witnesses of the Great and Terrible Tribulation. Elijah did not suffer death but was raptured by being carried off in a chariot of fire. There is speculation that either Moses (who died) because of his presence during the transfiguration as being the other witness, or that Enoch the 7th from Adam who was also raptured off the planet will be the 2nd witness. Enoch was born on the day of Pentecost and He also was raptured off the planet on his birthday on Pentecost. The church was born on Pentecost, and many seeing Enoch as a type of the church believe we may very well be raptured off of the planet on Pentecost. Either way I am ready. The two witnesses will prophecy in the Old City of Jerusalem calling down death and destruction in like manner on any who try to harm or kill them during the first 3.5 years of the tribulation.Once they finish their ministry to the very day and hour then the antichrist will kill them. He'll think it's because he's so big, but it really is that they have finished their ministry. God will resurrect them to life on the 3rd day while lots of people will party in the streets exchanging gifts over their dead unburied corpses and around the world. From that moment on every Jew had better flee Jerusalem because the antichrist will declare open season on every Jew alive. And we though Hitler was atrocious... the antichrist will make Hitler worst seem like child's play.

No, i think that is a fabrication because I' m the Mahdi, the reincarnation of Elijah.
My wife and i are the 2 witnesses in Rev. 11
Also in Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
The day of the lord is the judgement day!
I'm also the reincarnation of James Zebedee who was the beloved disciple aka the teacher of righteousness in the DEAD SEA SCROLLS. who was referred to as the Messiah!
The angel Gabriel told me that Jimmy Carter is the Anti-Christ and that he will divorce his wife and change his name!
The angel Gabriel told me when i was in Philipsburg, Montana in 1973 that Jimmy Carter is the Anti-Christ! And a few years later i figured out who the 7 Kings were in Rev. 17:10.
George W. Bush is the 6th King in Rev. 17:10 who is spoken of in the present tense! Because when he was in office in 2001 there were 5-x presidents who were still alive, and one is yet to come, was Obama!
The angel Gabriel told me that Jimmy Carter is the Anti-Christ aka Dajjal and that he is going to change his name and divorce his wife!
Obama is going to die first and then the Anti-Christ who was one of the previous 7 Presidents will take his place!
Rev. 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
These 7 kings were;
1. Gerald Ford
2. Jimmy Carter
3. Ronald Reagan
4. George H. W. Bush
5. Bill Clinton
6. George W. Bush.... is spoken of in the present tense (and one is) because until Reagan died all 7 were alive!
7. Barack Obama.......and one is yet to come! He will die a few days after he raises taxes!
Obama is also in Dan. 11:20
Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes [in] the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
Rev. 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
The angel Gabriel told me in Aug. 1973 that Jimmy Carter was the Anti-Christ and that he is going to change his name and divorce his wife!
Obama is going to die first, and then the Anti-Christ, who was one of the previous 7 Presidents will take his place!

Yes, in spirit.
Matthew 17:12
But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
Luke 1:17
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
