My friend insists that she used to use one when she was younger in Australia but Im finding it hard to believe her. She said just put the money in the slot and after a couple of minutes, the chips are dispensed hot and fresh?!?

Wow, I'm in the USA and travel a lot and I have never seen any of those. I would much rather have hot fries when on a road trip than a 3 year old snack from a vending machine!!

there are many types of vending machines that dispense french fries or hot chips here in the united states. If you check online, on ebay or similiar site i would bet there are some for sale. Patata chef is a popular one.

I live in Dublin Ireland, and i've come across them in a few places, hot chips and even burgers where available from these vending machine, didn't matter tho' you just end up with severe stomach pains no matter what you get.

I can speak for everyone in the UK when I say, Never heard of them or even anything like them. If they worked we would have them over here though so they cant taste too good.

Yea!! There is a McCains chip machine in our local ice rink in Northern Ireland! What an amazing invention....and they are really hot and eadible too!

Here at the Boise Airport they have french fry machines!! I am serious!!! I have never boughtten any though.
