What do guys think about "little" gifts from a crush?

I think he likes me. I definitely like him. I can't seem to get him alone, so I can tell him how I feel, so I was thinking about getting him a little gift. It is a practical joke rather than an elaborate sort of thing. I just want him to know I'm thinking about him...Any thoughts of how this may be received. It is cornball, but while we're studying he isn't able to go out and drink with the guys b/c of the mad hangovers. So, I was thinking one of those herbal hangover things and a six pack? cute, corny or desperate?

Thanks. Yes, we know each other really well. We've hung out, even kissed. But we haven't had that akward..."do you like me" talk. If you knew our schedule, you'd understand how impossible it is, and we are always with other people. This was just my way of letting him know he is on my mind...a lot!

C.C.D I personally feel odd when a girl tries to buy me trinkets. I don't need that from a girl because they always try to do "sweet" things and it's awkward for a guy. You girls just don't get that, for some reason. We don't do "sweet".

Depends. Does this guy know who you are? How well do you know each other? Are you good friends? If you're good friends then I think it would be a hilarious joke because he would understand the gift. If he barely knows you it might weird him out a bit. Kind of like "Who's this girl and hwy is she sending me this?"
