Well I have this really great guy friend and he's like the sweetest guy I have ever met. I've liked him on and off for a while and I dont know why I cant get over him. I already told him I liked him TWICE! Once in 6th grade and I guess guys are really immature at that age so I told him I didn't like him anymore. And a second time this year but he said he's not ready to date. He kind of brushed it off and I know he probably doesnt like me and that he's not worth it but he's also really shy. My friends say that's why he hasn't asked me out. I know that he liked me a while back but I dont know about right now! What should I do???

Be straight forward with him..... Tell him that you like him still and that you understand that he doesn't want to date right now but you need to know if he likes you the same way. That if he does then your willing to wait until he's ready to have a girlfriend. Being completely honest with him is the best thing for a friendship and a relationship with someone. If he says no then yall can remain friends, just take it easy and see what happenes. Good luck and i hope everything works out for you.

Just be his friend. If he isn't ready, there isn't anything you can do, but be his friend. If it is meant to be, when he is ready, he will ask you out. You have to be friends first anyway. Get to know him better as friends. Nothing lost that way.

I have a friend that I have had known for almost two years. We are now dating. We of course are much older than you, almost 40 now, but it is much better getting to know each other as friends first.

Don't push him into anything or try to rush into anything. Enjoy your friendship as it develops. If it doesn't develop into anything further, you have gained a great friend.

hmm this is hard. ive been in this situation before. you can deal with it two ways:

a) directly confront him and tell him you like him and you just want to know if he likes u or fi u wanna go out.. bla blaaa but basically making the first move. which might be good sicne hes shy..

b) wait it out. give it time and just try and sense what hes feeling and thinking

c) have another one of ur friends talk to him and try to get info... might be childish depending on how old u are.

goodluck!

Just continue being his friend. If he really likes you then he'll eventually come around. Just continue being honest about your feelings - but don't pursue it too strongly. If it's really that shy, or not interested, you could end up pushing him too far and losing out on a good friend.

Be nice to him. It wouldn't hurt also if you tried being open with him. Guys seem to like attention, so if there is ever an opportunity for you to make him feel special, go for it. Without compromising your own integrity, of course. Good luck!

If you like him, don't fight it. It's impossible to try and get over a crush. Just keep your feelings and see where it goes from there. If you do like him, fight for him. (not literally, well.... you know what I mean!) GOOD LUCK!!! =)
