My boyfriend of 2 years dumped me abt a month ago, but he says he still wants to get back together at a later date if he gets "that feeling" back. Everytime we talk i always have to start the convo and keep it up. Is he just trying to not hurt me but also has no intentions of getting back together?

YeS! ... Either that or he's a player who wants to keep u on the shelf if nothing better comes along... No person deserves that and someone like that isnt the trouble... You might aswell be the person complete this semi-break up situation and just dump him.

if he has the intentions to get back together with you he would call you or even keep up the convo when you talk to him you should probably give him some space and give him some time to think if he still likes you and wants to get back together with you hell make a move in the mean time just give him some space and go have some fun

I am not trying to be mean or sound mean but honey, he probably has no intentions of getting back together and if he did get back together with you he would be more than likley to hurt you again. that has happened to me a time or two. Dump him for good you will find someone alot better if you just take time for yourself and don't look true love will find you.

First of all why are you wasting your time with this guy? He dumped you. He's stringing you along saying you will get back together "at a later date". What a bunch of crap! He has lost interest and you guys talking is just making it worse. Pick up your marbles and go home. Get out there and find someone who will LIKE you!

Stop talking to this jerk. He sounds like he is only trying to keep you around in case he needs to get his groove on. Let him go and find someone who will treat you decently. "If he gets that feeling back" Are you kidding? The next time he says that tell him that feeling is never coming back at least not for him.

first of all..I don't know how old you and your bf are. basically, guys get used to certain things so you have to be certain what " that feeling " is. Maybe he's just lonely coz he don't have you around to entertain him. as for trying not to hurt you... what have you done since he broke up with you? if you haven't shown him how hurt you are.... would he show you any sympathy?

I have seen this many times..happened to friends as well ...he wants his cake and eat it too .......In other words he wants to keep you hanging on while he looks for someone better but when he is bored or doesn't find someone fast enough he will use...yes use you for a time...and then dump you again..........why do you want someone looking for someone else ? be unavailable to him and move on ...
