I am friends with this guy and we work at a steakhouse (we've known each other for a year) and he said "quieres ser mi novia?" (do you want to be my gf)?" He asks all the time, and I honestly don't know how to respond because I take it as joking. He will say "do you know you are very beautiful?" The other day he asked me to kiss him and he asked if he could kiss me on the cheek. He hugged me and kissed my neck and then he planted one on my cheek for a fair amount of time twice. Now, I know that in general Latin Americans are much more affectionate so this is my question, is this normal behavior amongst friends in Latin America?
Also, would he think I was "easy" if I let him hug me and kiss my cheek? I am not like that but I really like him and I have been head over heels for him for quite some time, and I don't want my heart to be broken and I'm not sure if this is normal behavior for friends only in Latin America. Thanks!

we latin americans r more open but tht means he likes u and he wants to b ur bf if he does it in the cheeck is just a friend but in the neck thats different h likes u and he might give u a french in some time we r more to kisses but h likes u=0)

lol... I can honestly say, he likes you, and no it is not normal among friends. We are very very friendly and affectionate, but we don't go around asking if someone could a our gf/bf... I think he is not joking... ask him, "DO YOU MEAN THAT??" we are very outgoing and I really think he'll say yes... so congrats girl, I think you found a nice latino... believe me, you don't know how good this is, we are ON FIRE!! lol....
