You should learn Swedish or Norwegian. Both are North Germanic Languages, so the writing systems are similar to English. Swedish and Norwegian are spoken primarily in Scandinavia. Norwegian and Swedish are both tonal languages, so correct pitch is important in determining meaning. Although the writing is slightly different and they are tonal languages, Swedish and Norwegian are considered to be easy languages for English-speakers to learn, so don't be intimidated! Lykke til!

Well that was disappointing since there was no chance of getting the language that was really suited to me... ESPERANTO.

I ended up with 'You should learn a romance language.'

I think they need to expand their choices.
