Don't "try to impress him." Talk to him and he will be interested or not. If not, that sucks and life goes on. If so, great, have fun and don't do anything stupid.
Here's the thing about the "just be yourself" line that everyone throws around. Being yourself will not attract that one guy that you have a crush on. Being yourself is the best way to find someone with which you have a mutual attraction.

Use s big smile with your hair looking good and slowly walk by him stopping just long enough to say hi or hello (SAYING HIS FIRST NAME ). Pull this off when there are no other distractions near buy. It'll work, he'll melt.
