Christians Lean Upon there "personal Expereince" of salvation thru Jesus christ as an indicator that they are right, and that they are headed to heaven. But i have a question? contradictory religious systems have equally strong testimonies of the truth of their beliefs. Mormons, for example, frequently appeal to a "burning in the bosom" as a way of knowing that Mormonism is true. Likewise, Jehovah's Witnesses "know" they are gith and have suposed testimony of truth. so do buddhist who meditate and those of the hindu religion and other eastern mystic religions. thes relgious folowers have equally strong Personal testimonies. what make the christian testimony any more valid or true?

First you were a little out of step in thinking that a Christian has just their experience to validate truth.... not so my friend.. What separates the light from the darkness, or the truth from a lie, or the relationship with Jesus, from religion is The word of God and the power of the Spirit of God that manifest in believers...
The Bible validates us... not the other way around... All these other religions have a lot in common, with each other... and when you read them all, they all deny that Jesus is the Son of the living God, who is the Saviour of the world... all their founders are 6 feet under... Jesus is the only One still living...
In the Word of God, you will find these words... "no one can say that Jesus is the Christ, except by the Holy Spirit..."
Jesus said," I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by Me." Jesus would be a liar to make a statement like this and then approve of any direction we take in our lives to try to get to God.... As Spock would say, "it is illogical." Jesus is the only way...
There are many ways for us to choose... and wheather we confess or deny Jesus, we all will make our choice... but I promise you that the founders of religions will not be seated next to God asking us what did we do about their teaching... but you know deep inside that we will all give account of what we did about Jesus...

There'd be nothing personal about getting their "salvation
experience" from a state-licensed clergyman.
Saved from what? There's not a need for any salvation
unless there is a danger of being destroyed.
After studying the life and words of Jesus since i was a
boy, i have found that religious teachers write, speak,
and teach things about "religion" that any agnostic or
atheist could disprove from the Holy bible itself.
If a person has seen nothing, they have nothing to
testify of, and no testimony.
I can testify of pain, confusion, doubt, and sorrow. I
can testify of moments of questioning whether God
really cares for me or not.
Most people who "testify" to you have received their
beliefs from their denominational leadership.
None of these people have any right to decide what you
believe about any thing.
If a belief of mine isn't true, i have a duty to correct it.
The above mentioned sects are generally not permitted
to do that.
I stopped trusting that sort a long time ago. I read some
of the sayings of Jesus in the bible still. I still have
questions, and I'm looking for answers still.
I hope you do the same, so that you can own your beliefs.

I can't answer for all the religions you refer to here. But I can say the history of several of then cannot hold a candle to the history of Christianity / Judaism. It's not just faith. It's also the prophecy that have been predicted so often in the text of the Bible. You would have the actually READ it to understand that. Faith comes from reading and studying the Bible and learning to walk the walk that Jesus walked and through your building of faith you will learn that if you put your trust in Him you will discover and have a personal relationship with him in such a way that you will know he is our Father in Heaven. That's about as short and simply as I can say it. If you research some of the religions you stated you will see that through the years their text, their belief and their doctrine has changed. The Bible on the other hand has not. God is today as he was in the beginning as he will be tomorrow.

Any testimony in itself does not make it more valid or true but the reality is that only one can be true or none. If one is true than the testimony of it is true. I agree that anyone with a religious belief usually truly believes it. Christians base their belief on the Word of God and believe that a right study of the scriptures verifies this along with the testimony of the Spirit in their heart that they indeed are children of God. Another big difference is in Christianity you have 2 distinct things that separate it form all other religions. That Jesus died for our sin, and that He rose again and lives. No other religion has a God who pays the price for sin to reconcile His people to Himself. All other religions have a works righteousness in them. I find it a lot easier to believe that I am right with God because His Son paid a perfect sacrifice for me a lot easier to believe even logically than one where maybe if I'm good enough or do enough somethings or sacrifices then God will not punish me.

True everyone might believe that their religion is true, but only 1 can possibly be right. You have to look at the evidence of each, and see which one you believe is the most valid. The differences Christians have is when they receive the spirit of God, they know he exist. It is having full assurance of the truth. Of course telling anyone that has not received this would just make them skeptical. However God says in his word those that seek shall find. And once you know the truth, the truth shall set you free.
Check out these websites and you will begin to believe how supernatural the bible really is.

Here is the deal. Any testimony could be true, no matter what religion it is. The main question, however, should be which one is right. I could be a devout Buddhist with a fantastic testimony for Buddhism, and lead many people to become Buddhist. But If the Buddhist beliefs are wrong, then what good is it?

I'll go with the first guy - Faith.
We are not to trust experiences because Satan is a master deceiver. We believe in Jesus Christ. Most religins have some form of psychic experiences, which are easy to fabricate. Just look at the pentacostals and their "tongues", Anyone can do that if they know how. But they use it as a proof of the Holy Spirit instead of trusting God and His Word. They lack faith.

None of this truly matters, I feel this to be the truth.... God works in all the religions so as long as the heart is good as what God likes in a heart. I don't care what religion a church is, I just go there if felt I am being lead there. What I ascertain is God works in all or most religions, and it's to do with the heart, it's a individual personal to do with ones soul, and that God Jesus is my religion.

Christians don't or shouldn't base their salvation on personal experience. It is based on the truths, the facts, of the Word of God. Christianity, unlike the other religious systems, offer POWER to live a truly good and worthwhile life. Other religions teach to live good lives, but only Christianity offers the power to do that--"power in the blood" if you will.

I believe it is that we have testimony according to that which we have faith in. Christians believe in God and His word and testify according to that from their life experiences..likewise with anyone else who has belief in any other religion. It is hard thoug, because there are so many beliefs, so many who are passionate about those beliefs and belief it is from them that they have got a story to tell of how things have changed for them.
We all have freedom of choice. We should respect each others right to choose and believe in what they want..whether we agree or not.
