Wait a sec...someone whose identity is "bukakke" is concerned about a believer handling her food?

It is after all, a theory. And while I don't neccesarily agree with everything Creationists say, I don't think Evolution has all the answers either. There is a 300 million year gap in the fossil record from the time plants made the transition from sea to land. That's a pretty huge gap. If you read The Bone Peddlers" and "Forbidden Archeology" (niether of which were written by Christians) you'll see not everyone agrees with current scientific theories on Evolution.
Scientists are always revising theories, so it's not as cut and dry as some might think. At first many scientists, including Albert Einstien, were reluctant to accept the Big Bang Theory because it "sounded to much like Christianity". Before this scientists accepted the Static Universe theory, i.e., that the universe had simply always existed. The idea of the universe having a starting point sounded like it might have had a creator. Einstien spent a good part of his career dispuiting the Big Bang Theory, but he finally accepted it and later wrote how he regretted trying to refute it for so long.
And there are churches that accept Evolution, i.e., Roman Catholic, Episcopal, Lutheran, etc. I for one, don't particularly think the creation account in Genesis had to happen literally.
And as far as thinking Creationist Christians don't wash their hands just because they have a difference of opinion, that's rather bigotted. The Unibomber is an athiest, would you rather him prepare your food, or Pat Boone???

There are no absolutes in this world at any time. When
scientists change their mind about evolution, or how it
happened, they will re-write the textbooks-to make money.
Since there are no absolutes in this world, how is evolution an absolute?
How can a scientist in his or her 30s or 40s claim to know what happened billions of years ago any way?
People who deny evolution in front of you aren't doing it
because they "know" what happened.
None of us do because we simply weren't there.
Those who focus on how or when life originated are
simply living in the past.
It has next to nothing to do with Noah's ark at all.
It has nearly nothing to do with beliefs.
People are afraid of an unknown future, so
evolutionists and the "creation" people are both
using an unknown past as a means to get people
to do what they want. They both do it because
they're scared.
People should own their beliefs, and live in the present.
No body who believes evolution should be the thought
police, and neither should any one who doesn't believe.
Freedom of thought is too valuable to surrender.

Actually it isn't in most public schools it is the law that if the student wants to pray he/she can do so freely. Also if the student wants to have a prayer group at school this is by law allowed in the public schools. In private schools have the right to pray and prayer groups. On the other hand the Teacher's in the public schools cannot pray or start a prayer group by law. Most people do not have this knowledge. That is the reason why there is so much confusion on this subject.

Actually open a book before spreading your uneducated crap.
There is proof for Noahs arc whereas evolution is still a theory. You may want to look the word theory up as you seem a bit confused.

It's not the education system. It's the indoctrination kids get from their parents and from Sunday School.
Believing in Noah's ark, by the way, is all right. However, the Great Flood was greatly exaggerated in Genesis. In reality, it didn't cover all the land (not nearly!).

I think it's highly probable that macro evolutions is real but....probability doesn't make something a fact. The real hard fact is that there's no hard PROOF that any animal, plant or microbe descended from a different species. Lots of circumstantial evidence, no proof. To call evolution a hard fact under these circumstances is contrary to the scientific method.

i think that evolution theory has some flaws but since there is no alternative i can think of , i dont try to discredit it. But most christians, offended by the idea of having evolved from a monkey, try to deny it without giving an alternate explanation or giving as an alternative adam eve and all that nonsense. I think they are crazy

The Bible makes it clear the world was created 6,000 years ago. I believe it was in October 4004 BC to be precise. So the oil you put in your car does not exist. Neither do any stars more than 6,000 light years from here--that would include about 99.9999999etc % of the universe. The Bible is clear. You should not be driving a vehicle that requires fuel that doesn't exist, you can give me your car. Thank you.
