If you have your refund sent directly to your bank account (highly recommended) you may see your refund in as little as 1 week if you file early -- I got mine in 4 days last year! If you want a check in the mail, it may take 2 to 4 weeks if you file early.

Having your refund sent directly to the bank is highly recommended as it can't get lost like a check in the mail can. You also don't have to worry about any hold time or making a trip to the bank to deposit it. And you get it MUCH faster!

It will take about two weeks at most. Last year, I filed my taxes online on February 1 and got my return deposited into my account on February 10.

I had mine direct-deposited, and it took about a week. I think mailing an actual check would take maybe 2 weeks.

8 days to two weeks if you have it direct deposited; about a week or 10 days longer if they mail you a paper check.
