I met this woman about a month ago on a christian dating site, and we spoke on the net for a while, and then the phone the rest of the time. We were supposed to meet this past weekend, but due to her schedule, we didn't. Now about a couple weeks ago, I didn't hear from her for about a week, and she told me her schedule was hectic, meaning pretty much 7am to 2pm then 3pm to 11pm. I respect that, but just a minute ago, I noticed she was online and to my knowledge, she doesn't have access to a computer at work or school. So all of this doesn't add up, what do you think is going on here? Am I getting the run around?

It does indeed sound like shes not being totally honest with you. As to what might be going on...maybe she took a sick day and is lounging around at home. But all in all, this doesn't seem like something worth pursuing. It takes two people to make a relationship work, or even ATTEMPT to make it work. From what you've shared here, it seems that shes not in it with you.

Well, the downside of online dating (and I do it plenty myself) is that until you actually meet there's no real loyalty because you're just on paper. So my guess is that someone else may have jumped off the page a little louder than you did. But try this. Write to her and just say, "I know you're really busy. Sounds like it's going to be impossible to meet." If she really wants to meet you, she'll say, "No, no, I'll make time." But if she just agrees with you and seems relieved to be let off the hook, then it's time to move on. Do NOT let her know that you've noticed her online. That's stalker behavior - she doesn't even know you - she has every right to continue being online. Good luck.

Yes it sure sounds like it. You've gotta watch who you meet online. They seem real but in the end they're fake and hiding behind these phony profiles on dating sites. Your heart will tell you whats what. And if it doesn't feel right trust your instincs and move on. Sorry you got had there buddy.

the fact that u havn't met her in person and the fact she's been avoiding this meeting although it has been 1 month means that she's either not interrested or she's afraid to take this step. the best way to handle this situation is to be honest about your feelings and confront her. this way, you'll know for sure what to do. end it or continue with her.

If it walks like a duck---and quacks like a duck---it is a duck. Move on and try again. It is not the first time you'll have a disappointment--you have to keep trying. KEEP GOING and good luck

Maybe but it's a possibility that she doesn't have access to YOU. maybe she lost your screen name. You should try to contact her again and then if nothing, just move on.

Yes, for whatever reason, she decided she isn't interested. Don't take it personally, since she has never met you. Just move on.

Ask her, because if you really like her and you think she really likes you then be upfront with her. aske her "am I just wasting my time and energy with you, because if you don't like me then just tell me so that I can move on" don't beat around the bush otherwise you won't get anything acomplished.

Well maybe she had a reason to be online, something important or something. You should have asked her what she was doing online....
