Is there any pain medication that is less harmful to your body than any other? Or are they all the same?

Of those on your list Tylenol will cause the least stomach upset. If you will take your meds with a full glass of water they are less likely to upset stomach. All pain meds can harm the body in large enough doses.

Tylenol won't bother your stomach, but, taken in large doses it can cause damage to your liver. If pain medicine bothers your stomach; try taking it with food and drink a full glass of water. I have an ulcer and Tylenol is the only medicine the doctor will let me take. As far as pain medicine goes ; it is best to take it only when you have to and at the smallest possible dose.

all of them could cause stomach upset, Tylenol is less likely too. take it with a full glass of water and with some food, that could help. FYI, I don't find Tylenol to be the most effective otc pain killer for adults...its good for fever reduction though...good luck!

All of the above medicines are NSAIDS (non-steriodal anti-inflammatory drugs). They are pretty much all hard on the stomach, and on the liver. The only way you can soften their impact on your stomach is to eat when you take the medicine. I wish you the best of luck.

I agree with al...if you ask any Gastroenterologist...they will tell you to stay away from NSAIDS (Ibuprofen, Naproxen, etc...) they can cause gastric bleeding. I use Tylenol for pain...
