Once a cheater...always a cheater.
Cheat on you once shame on him, cheat on you twice shame on you.
How do you know he won't do it again? You trusted him and he has betrayed you. How can you trust him again knowing that he cheated on you before. Why go through life wondering if he'll do it again....

Depends on his reasons. (And your age.. and what exactly "cheating means.)
I have a freind who got a divorce from her husband because he was cheating on her. They were really close, and stayed friends after, and they remarried a couple years later. I was talking to her about it and said that it was her fault. (Sorta.) She said that he was always trying to love on her, hold her hand, kiss her, hold her and she always pushed him away because she was tired. He still loved her very much but the lack of attention drove him astray.
I'm not saying what he did was right, but I also believe that they have a great chance at a happy life. He even adopted the baby that she got pregnate with while they were split. (Accident - birth control problems...)
Personally I've never been cheated on by anybody I cared enough about to get upset over it.

if you loved this guy..and if he was worth your time he wouldnt have made that mistake..people like to "fool around" these days..why give him another chance? he should have considered how you would have felt about this and how much it would have hurt you..and he thinks he can get you back by letting you know...you need to think this over..do you really want to give that person another chance when he blew the first one? you should find someone who will be more considerate of your feelings hun dont let someone treat you like that and then own you by getting another chance..

Only give him another chance if you still love him and think he deserves it! But make this his last chance. Someone can only have so many chances. But before you give him that chance. Make him prove to you that he still loves you in some way.

yea--everyone deserves a second chance...
just be clear with him that if this is the only time EVER that thats gonna happen. If you really do love him, then you would be willing to forgive him for his mistakes

Simple, if you think he really wants you, tell him to earn your trust. Don't tell him what you want him to do, or what he should do, see how he acts if you are going out but not kissing or cuddly. Say until he can prove to you his loyalty and trust worthyness, you can't do the stuff you may have done before.

no way, if he was truely sorry then he wouldn't have done it. you should tell him that he made really bad decisions in the relationship and that no one should have to deal with the pain of knowing that they are dating someone who cheated on them. i think you should break up with him

THE HEART HAS ITS OWN PLANS, IT DEPENDS ON IF YOUR WILLING AND READY TO FORGIVE HIM IF NOT MOVE ON AND FIND SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T LIE OR TREATS YOU LIKE YOUR WORTHLESS. IF IT WERE ME I WOULD MOVE ON AND LET HIM GO, AND GROW. I KNOW IT HURTS AND LOVE WILL NEVER DIE BUT IT WILL FADE EVENTUALLY TRUST.

He cheated on you.
And you said you don't love him.
So why would you stay with him?
