I don't mean a specific person, I mean which religion *or lack there of* would be most likely to have a true holey encounter?

Personaly, I don't think any die-hard religions would ever see god for themselves, maybe not even in death. Why? Because god does not want to dissapoint them in telling them that they were a little *or a lot* off. Also, they are more likely to simply make it all up.

I think it would be the open-minded that would be visited, and I have met very few open-minded fanatics. Anyone that says there's only one way into heaven *which is their way, of course* or that they "know" what happens after death is immediately knocked off the list.

Anyone with any input?

Why on earth does everyone assume god is a he? I'm not saying god is a she, but I do find it a little cocky that people think that they know the sex of the higher being, who is most likely, in truth, neither one nor the other.

God visits His children on a daily basis. He visits His children through His children. When you see the rich making REAL sacrifices (not just token efforts that keep the rich insulated from the poor so they can keep living as normal while feeling pretty good about themselves) to help the poor in the Name of Jesus Christ, there He is in the middle of this encounter. The rich see God in the eyes of the poor and come away from the encounter changed for the better. The poor see God in the eyes of the rich and come away from the encounter changed for the better. This is where miracles happen -- when the rich meet the poor, the strong meet the weak, the healthy meet the sick... and the power of God causes renewal to happen.

Only to those who have the Holy Ghost, not that they are righteous, but John 3:16
We are now with out sin before our God, We can approach Him as a Holy People, with the Holy Ghost. It will first before anything confirm Jesus to be God made flesh. This will not be revealed by man,but only by His Spirit.
We are made as white as snow before God,and who can dispute it.

This is an anthropomorphic question, based on man's need to see God.

From God's point of view, he visits all of us all the time, whether we know it or not, and that renders your question a little out of focus from reality.

Think of it from a father's point of view. He never leaves us. Ever.

I think if he *DID* (highly unlikely) it wouldn't be a group or religion. It would be individuals on a "need to know" basis. Whomever needs it the most.

We're already getting a visit from him. You can't see him if you look with your eyes. He's as big as life and he's right in front of us.
