Literally that means: "To qualify." What you are trying to say is that you 'passed' the exam or homework. That is, you received a passing mark in your exam or homework.

You already have an answer: To grade. That is, if your are reviewing a work and giving it points.
Also, if you are trying to achieve something and you attain it then you qualify. So, to qualify would be another answer.
