Hi,
I had a big head lice problem in my home. To make sure you get rid of them you need to treat to whole family and tell your friends to do the same. They may have head lice and after one visit you can get them back.
First use the professional treatment on the family. Then follow up every second day for 2 weeks with Tea Tree oil. Put the oil in a small spray bottle tie you hair back and spay it on. Don't rinse it out. Tea Tree oil kills them in seconds and is very safe to use.
Buy Tea Oil shampoo and conditioner to use very day. Wash all bed linen and dry in the dryer. Go to the supermarket and buy the cans of spray that you set of in rooms to kill fleas. That will make sure they are all killed.
This treatment should be followed up in 8 days in case some of the Nits stayed alive. There is no guarantee that the nice will not come back, because you can't treat everyone that comes to visit that may bring the Nice back.

Stay away from infected people and make certain that your pillow case, bedding and anywhere that you may place your head is clear of all lice or the nits. Wash your pillow case in HOT water with your other linen...
To clear it from your head, wash your head with NITZ shampoo and comb your hair with the lice comb. Probably best that somebody else comb your hair to be certain all the eggs and nits are removed from your hair. Treat your head another time 10 days after the first treatment and it is also important that all members in the home treat themselves as well even it they are not infected with head lice.
See a Doctor if you need more help or contact your health department.

Alternatively you can get someone to do all the work of clearing it for you. If you are in London or Brighton there is a nit and head lice clearing service you can use who will shut the infestation down quickly, safely and effectively. The Hairforce - Lice Assassins clears entirely by hand using revolutionary technology. The LouseBuster uses just controlled heated air to dehydrate the nits and lice plus they remove everything. You just need to see them for 2 appointments, 7 days apart. No chemicals, pesticides or lice products are used and they guarantee their work.

to get rid of lice and nits the cheap and fast way is to put baby oil in your head and get a shower cap and put that on and let it soak for a few hours. by doing this you will suficate the lice and nits. Don't share brushes and combs. use your own pillow. only way to prevent this from ever happening is a hit a miss. If you know the other person(s) has it don't go around them!!!

Shave half of your head . When that is finished . Start the other half on fire . When the lice run to the shaved side hit them with a hammer . But for real you can go to the RX and buy Rix that works best . I would also buy the spray can to spray areas that you might not be able to wash in the washer . If all else fails go see a MD there is a better med that the doctor can give you . That will work for sure .

Get the stuff called Nix. Or go to the store and for help. There's the name brand stuff and the cheap stuff. But get the best kind that you can. It's also very expensive. If you treat lice right the first time it will be easier to get treat it. And make sure that you follow the directions on the box vary well. It will also help to treat lice and keep them from spreading around your home. The best of luck to you.

do what the other people said. Nix does work best. also if the Nix doesn't come with it buy a lice comb and comb out every strand of hair. not only do you have to wash all of the clothes, and bed sheets, but you should also wash all and any table clothes if your hair has touched or brushed across them steam clean the carpets and furniture, and wash any stuffed animals. there is no way to prevent your self from getting them but try not to ever wear some one else's hat and never use some one else's hairbrush. good luck.

Wash EVERTHING.place all stuffed animals in a plastic bag tie it off and keep them in there for 4 weeks.vacuum your whole room.
Now we use mayonnaise to get kill the lice and most of the nits we use to use NIX or Rid but it never worked my daughter has VERY thick hair and I would have to buy 3 bottles just to drench her hair so I read on line how to get rid of them I read about Mayonnaise buy a cheap jar of mayo and use the whole jar after you have covered you hair let the mayo sit on your hair for 4 hours.Wash out of your hair using dawn soap.Have a friend help you get out as many nits that are left.In 3 weeks repeat the mayo just in case you missed any nits.I know it sound wacky but it worked it's the only thing that has.Look on line you'll see there are many many home remedies.

It comes around every so often. Can't help but get them.
Use a shampoo especially for lice. The Rx store has plenty in stock. Just get it and use it as directed. All will be fine tomorrow

go to a dug store and buy Nix..it is for head lice and probably nits as well. it tells you how to wash them out properly, and to prevent it from happening again, wash all the beds sheets and clothes, and throw away the hair brushes and buy new ones..never use someone elses brush
