I'd expect her to turn it down. A present is a come on, and by accepting she's encouraging it.

Tough call.. some I would some I wouldn't (be it known I have no current what you would call exclusive GF at present) Some of Em no some of em yes.. I have even suggested to some former GF's that maybe she should invite em over and we can have a 3some.. some did some never followed thru... some did.. it was fun actually...what can i say? I'm not particularly the jelouse type unless there is some reason to be...
I guess you really cant go wrong with presents though.. (I pretty much keep mine to books or the odd nik nack.. nothing personal) though I'm (now that i think about it) sure its pissing of my former GF's new boyfriend (I mentioned this she said dont worry about it.. she has to put up with his ex so its all fair LOL) as i do send her presents now and then... and she sends me stuff too BDay Xmas etc.. (and NO i dont wanna get back with her.. we are incompatiable in that way.. I just like her.. shes actually got a brain for a blonde LOL)
Now keep in mind I havent physically seen her at all in about 2 years.. and the year before that it was pretty much hapenstance on the street.. or she wanted me to take care of something for her...

Yeah, because I'm sure he would have ulterior motives. Why would he buy her something, unless he wanted something in return? Did he buy anyone else a nice present too? As an ex, there should be very limited communication between them.

I think it's inappropriate to accept nice gifts from ex-partners ... it really doesn't show respect for the person you are with currently ... if you accept the gift ... what else will you accept from the person in the future ... and that's where the question lies ... !

Friends can't give friends gifts? If you are paranoid that your girlfriend is cheating on you, I strongly advise you to take another look at your relationship. Distrust will only cause problems.

He might be trying to wind you up - don't rise to it though - just make sure that you are thoughtful about your presents and don't show that it has got to you.

Yes, he is still interested and you know this. It's not right for him to try to buy you back. But if your a sucker go ahead, but be fair to your boyfriend.

I don't mind. That's just respect of a close friend.
