If they can't speak any english, they are probably a recently arrived illegal. Asking for a green card (which are actually pink, BTW) means nothing, as the illegals forge these things wholesale.
Ask then for their address. Most illegals that I have encoutered can't (or won't) tell you where they live.

Every American Citizen has the right to ask to see their Green Card or visa...If not, you can report it to irs.gov and download form 3949A. Every employer that hires illegals can be fined $1000.00 for each of them. Make a copy after you fill it out and send it back Certified Mail. you will recieve a Reward of 10% for all they find wrong.

If there are 15 or 20 of them living in one apartment-that is one big tip off. They usually keep hidden in the house.

Sew a border patrol patch on your jacket and cap. Then walk into a welfare office or Dr. office. When they get up and leave you will know.
