Hey there mate,

Im an IT Technician and I love Windows Vista. The reason people dont like it is because of the compatibility issues with certain software but these issues are getting fixed fairly quickly now. The main compatibility problem is due to a new registry setup and security measures. The main reason people dont like it is because of change! No one likes change.

I suggest you do get it if you havnt already, Aeroglass is very useful.

I think it is a just a way for Microsoft to make more money. Money money money that's all they ever want. I don't think that it will be much different than XP and in a few years when everyone has bought Vista Microsoft will come out with something else that we will have to buy so our programs will run. I think it is just a bunch of bull sh&&.

ok...memoryhungry..takes at least a gig.
hard drive hungry..lots of space.
incompatible with most if not all older equipment.
reports all software..legal or not to microsoft\
incompatible with most older software
and will require more cash outlay to be compliant with it
in other words if it aint broke dont fix it and i dont see the reason for this fix other than microsoft wants to discontinue all support except for xp and this piece of garbage.
