It is very drying to the skin and will rob your skin of natural oils if it is very hot.It is really best to use warm water, but I have to admit i do love a good hot shower...It might not hurt to bad if you make sure and put lotion all over after your shower...I have read some where that a really hot shower opens the pores of your skin and cooler water closes your pores after a hot shower...

For a daily shower during winter heating season, steamy hot showers are not good for a lot of people - but by no means all people.
I have dry skin, and usually only take showers at a bit above room temperature, just enough to not get chilled. However, when I have been sick in bed and not showered for a few days or out in cold weather getting chilled, there is nothing better than a hot steamy shower and it never bothers my skin or hair, then.

Yes I heard it is very bad for your hair and can have horrible results on your skin. Especially if you get out of a hot shower and go outside in cold weather.

Yes, cold water is better for you skin and hair. Showering in really HOT water causes your skin/hair to dry out. But I still do it anyways....

It dries out your skin & hair, if you don't want to give up the hot water, use plenty of mosturizer, and hair conditioner

Yes. It can dry you out. You'll need extra hair conditioner and skin lotion if you continue. Try turning the temperature down a little.

We use hair dryers that are extraordinarily warm and after a time it may desire to take a toll on our hair. i do no longer shampoo my hair interior the bathe because of the fact i like somewhat heat showers too. in case you desire to get all of it completed on the comparable time obtainable you're able to desire to shampoo first with much less warm water?

It's not BAD, but it will strip your skin and hair of oils and cause them to dry out. As long as you replace the moisture by applying lotion, using conditioner and keeping yourself well hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids, there's no problem.
