The position of your body does not matter as much as the condition of the heart.
To be heard, prayers must be in harmony with God’s purposes. So, then, even failure to understand God’s purpose in a matter can result in a prayer with a negative response..—Deuteronomy. 3:23-27(Moses asked that God allow him ti enter the promised land. The answer was no.; 2 Samuel. 12:16, 22(David's prayer for his child of adultery with Bathsheba goes unheeded); 2 Corinthians. 12:7-9. (Paul prayed that his thorn in the flesh be removed. The answer is no)

To be acceptable to God, prayers must be through the channel he recognizes. Jesus said: “No one comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus also said prayers should be presented ‘in his name.’ (John 14:6; No one comes to the Father except through me. 16:23 ask the Father in his Son's name ) Thus, our prayers should acknowledge that the value of the sacrifice of Jesus’ own human life makes it possible for us to approach God in prayer, and that there is just “one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus.”—1 Timothy 2:5.(One God and one mediator between God and men, Jesus Christ.)

Those blessings will run out if you don't bless others. I don't see that hitting someone with an iron is anywhere near nice, you could of just told her to leave, and that you are not interested in gossip, to get a life, or don't you have any power in your words, that you have to resort to physical violence? It is also against the law to do what you did for a reason. Probably the reason she is nuts is from the last time you hit her with something! Goodness..I am glad I do not live by you.

If that's how you feel then do that but just know that there will be times when you can't get on your knees. He will hear you no matter how you pray or what position, whether walking or in the bathroom even!

It is whatever you feel comfortable with. Sometimes I think he hears me better on my knees at the altar too but I talk to Jesus like a friend. Like I would a person. I know he hears me.

On your knees is a good idea. The only thing I would say on the down side is to be careful not to put method (mechanics of a religion) before sincerity and spirituality.

If that is the way you show humility in praying to God, then absolutely. If a person is just going through the motions, then no. There are other ways to show reverence to God. Your way is just as well as anyone else's.

I believe He hears you wherever you are.

I pray in the hallways at school, whisper, in my head on a drive, everywhere. He listens, and He's *always* glad to have *any* moment with you.

He's always waiting for you to do something with Him. Anything. He loves attention.

I think that whatever you feel like works best for then go with it. I personally don't pray to God. I just talk to Him (or someone, lol) like my friend. It's really comforting.

It matters not your body position when you pray or even what you say. What God hears is your soul.

only if that's when you're most humble and sincere. HE hears mine when i'm walking in the woods or by the ocean. sitting in my car -- wherever i come to him in sincerity and with a humble heart.
