Both... I don't understand why people believe it is one or the other. If God created everything, doesn't that mean that he created science too?
The Bible was written over the least 1500 years ago. I think they did a great job explaining what they could with what knowledge they had. If you notice the creation story in Genesis 1 everything was created in stages, Days 1-7!
God exists out of time. Time is man made...by counting the rotations of the earth & the earth around the sun. I believe days 1-7 are representative of incraments of time throught out the shaping of the earth to what it is today.
God has never just handed us scientific info. We search & find it. It is the one of the ways God works. If you read up on evolution, and compare it with the stages in the 7 days there are striking similarities.

All men believe in God, it's just whether or not they submit to Him. Evolution is an attempt to reason God out of the picture.
