Everytime my husband and I have sex I end up with a massive headache, I have to keep laying on my back for at least 10 minutes. If I try to get up, it just feels like a vise is gripping my head starting at the base of my skull. This is not fun!!! Anybody everhave something like this happen to them?

yes, just recently. I think I should ask the doctor. I think it's because of the sudden rush of blood?

I have used the old "not now I've got a headache", when I not in the mood> But I have not gotten one after, this sounds aw full, you say the headache starts at the base of your skull, Headaches from high blood pressure start there, have you checked your blood pressure??, or could it be possible, that your B. P. only rises during sex? If you have a exercise type heart moniter, try wearing that next time, and see if you have a big change in your pulse, I can't think of any other link as to why you would have such pain after sex, your are right, that would not be fun, sorry, hope it gets better.

I would guess that you either have back/ neck problems that are causing your pain due to the vigor of sex or your body is negatively reacting to the endorphines that are released during/after sex. See your OB/GYN for treatment or a referral...
Headaches are supposed to be our excuse for NOT having sex...not a side effect! :)

You might be holding your breath and not realizing it. Try concentratingon breathing while it is happening and I bet you will feel better. If not see a Dr.
