Maybe they're ungodly men?

Because although according to the Bible women were to be submissive to their husbands "in all things", men have abused their God given place. They are admonished to "love their wives as they love themselves." Are they doing that? Do they suffer as a result of it? I don't know, but I do know that women were once viewed as precious and actually in wonder because they could produce life or offspring for the man. Now hmmmmm how many men esteem the fact that their wives will give them offspring?... Now there's another question to answer.

Is that part of the Old Testament? Wasn't people supposed to be freed from the Old Testament? Or is it part of the New Testament?

Either way, it reinforces sexism and that women are suppose to be objects for men who can do whatever they want with them. I'm against it and it's stuff like that why I never followed the Bible.

Would YOU want to be treated like an object forced to obey your "master's" commands because a book said so?

I guess because women learned they are at least as intelligent as their husbands and can make their own decisions. You men must learn to accept this truth: there are some women who are more intelligent than some men and the second truth is that it is more productive to exhert brain over brawn.

Cause of feminist mentality.

They want to be the head of the family, and the Bible says men should. Any body with 2 heads is a freak.

I know a few couples who live according to the word and both of them are very happy and no chance in hell of divorce.

???? Why should a woman have to "submit" to avoid suffering? Nobody has the right to make someone suffer because they won't comply with their wishes.

Becuase of Sin and possible how they are treated in the pass. Even in their child were possible abuse and lack of knowledge of how to overcome strongholds in their lives. So yearn for independence, wealth, power, and a sense of belonging in society.

In order for a woman to submit to her man, her man has to be in submission to Jesus Christ as head of His life. She will respect her man and let him lead if His life is subject to Christ. Together they walk in submission to the Lord. Suffering is a matter of perspective. And yes, I agree that your name is awful, but reflective of your disintegrating character. clean that up, will ya?
