No. Even hotboxing it's difficult to get high because the smoke isn't concentrated enough to do anything other than annoy a sober person. When used as a religious practice, like being in a tent with 12 other people and some burning cannabis, the tray of burning cannabis is passed around so people can directly inhale the smoke. The people don't get high just by sitting there in a room (or tent) with burning cannabis. And I've never heard of anyone getting a postive drug test from second hand smoke nor because the smoke absorbed into their skin. Absurd. It does make me wonder what kind of "information" is being "taught" in after-school specials these days, though. It also makes me wonder if that would be a good excuse for someone who got a surprise drug test at work after they just finished a 2 week binge. "I was around it, but never touched the stuff, I swear!" You get high by inhaling concentrated smoke directly into your lungs (usually from a pipe or a joint) or by ingesting concentrated amounts of activated THC in baked goods. Any "contact" high probably has more to do with a persons "high" personality rubbing off on another person...or even more likely it's a placebo effect. Any positive drug test very likely means "this person intentionally used marijuana."

You can if you are in a small enough room that is not ventilated. If you are outside with someone then it wouldn't affect you at all, as opposed to say being in a bedroom or closet, which becuase the smoke has nowhere to go except in your lungs, then you would be affected... but don't worry, if you get a contact high, you won't die from it. In fact, you might even enjoy it. lol

It depends on the situation. If you are in an enclosed area, close to the smoke breathing it in, then yes. If you are outside not that close to the smoke, then probably not as likely.

Yes, with lots of smoke in a small enclosed area. I'm talking fog-like conditions.

Yes. It is called a "contact high." If you inhale enough of it you'll feel the effects whether or not you are actually smoking. So get outta there!

You can be affected by marijuana smoke, just as you are with cigarette smoke.
