yes but no one knows but of course it makes a sound but it doesnt do anything else other than hurt the ground or other trees.

on one hand it could because everything makes noise whether or not some one is there to hear it, but on the other hand no one is there to here it so it doesn't really make a noise unless someone is there to hear it... its confusing but if you think about it its true.
