Ok so i ended up in the hospital this weekend cause i was really sick...so sick i was in the ICU.....they did a tox screen on me and they found barbiturates. I guess they are a street drug and they are used to control seizures. Anyways, they were in my system and i know that i did NOT take them....i live with my cousin and his family and it is hard for me to believe that they would put anything in my food... but they are the only ppl who i have had contact with in weeks..i have no car so i dont get to leave the house. Could they have put that in my food to try and hurt me....and what should i say to them about it....i dont know of any other way that they could have gotten in my system....plse tell me if there is another way....and what i can do about my cousin...what should i say to him???

bring it up to your physician, paitient doctor confidentiality, ask their advice. File a police report maybe.

Barbiturates can be pretty serious (like anything else.)
Who do you trust more, the parents or the cousin?
You should ask someone, tell someone.
They might be trying to get rid of you girl.

Call your public health department and talk to a social worker. Tell him/her the whole story.
Your cousin could have done this to you, but why would he? It almost sounds like you're a prisoner in his house. You need to get out of there!!!

Can you go stay somewhere else?
Look around and see if there are any medications around. If they make you something to eat, don't eat it and go have it analyzed.
Of course don't let them see you save it.
