NOT PROACTIVE, NOT DIFFEREN. They are all the same things as clean and clear, they just cost more, but do the same thing. In cases, i have had patients come to me crying bcus they wasted their money on proactive or differen and it actually ended up making their acne worse, im not saying that it will, but clean and clear is the best product out there. Sephora and shisido also have some good products, but clean and clear is really good. You should use benzol peroxide 10% wash and creme, but only salacyic acid if you need to peel away the scars. Clean and clear is very cost effective and all my patients seem to like it (including my 13 year old daughter) Hope it helps!!

I have been an esthetician for 9 years and I will always suggest professional skincare products. Some of my favorites are Dermalogica and Pevonia. Gentle, yet effective. Acne is a skin sensitivity of some sort, whether it be hormonal or being sensitized by the products you use. Stuff that you get at retail stores is not strong enough and only ends up irritating most people's skin even more.

Like you, I suffered from acne. I tried Proactiv 2 years ago and I have seen a dramatic difference straight away. I also use prescribed mediaction which you can also get from your GP. Try to use facial masks, especially the Proactiv one which comes with the starter pack or you can purchase individually. Regular facial treatments also assist in clearing your acne quicker. Good luck!

I use Clearasil Ultra - the wash, scrub, and vanishing cream. It works very, very well.
I've also used the Nuetragena Acne Mark Fading Peel, it doesn't do what a dermatologist could, but it helps smooth/fade some scars.

I was one of the lucky ones that dont get pimples, but my little sister.
She tried everything, but proactive kind of cleared her skin.
What she did was go to the doctor and she got put on prescription medicine. Roaccutane or something which cleared it all up.
Maybe try that.
