He's gone (missing). I'm just wondering if I can find 1/2 these characteristics in another cat.
He was this long, black/white handsome cat that only thought with his heart:
-A neighborhood cat would always try to attck him, and finally put a gash in my cat's head. A week after this attack, he became best friends with this cat.
-He would eat a bone, and growl at my dog if the dog came near him.
-He would jump into the sink while I was doing dishes; or try to jump into the shower while I was showering.
-He would eat anything, and get into almost any packaging. I couldn't leave any food out.
-He would jump into strangers' cars and strangers' homes, while people were in them, and not want to come out. Yes, he'd go up to anyone.
-He would try to hump my arm. (None of this was learned from my small pekingese dog)
-He could jump super long distances.
-He would let me kiss him all over his face, and would hug me.
-He was both dependant and independant.

You may, cats are all different but I'm sure you'll find one like your old one. But it probably will take a while to find just the right one. I wish you good luck!!!

I'm sure you could find a cat that is some what like the cat you had. However, you will have to go through many cats to find one. I live in an area that cats are consumed by coyotees. The result is that I have had probably 15 different cats in the last 3 or 4 years. None have been quite like the other.

You should put up some LOST CAT flyers/banners in and around your neighborhood. Cats don't usually wander too far from a steady food source. If it wasn't run over (hopefully not), then maybe someone else found him.

You might even offer a small reward for the return of your cat, say $150. Surely that will get the neighborhood kids on the lookout ;)

Each of God's creation is unique, no two leaves on a tree are the same.
How sad it is for you to lose such a special companion. Do you know that an outside cat lives an average of 3 to 5 years. Do you know that a cat kept strickly inside [yearly Vet check] can live an average of 20 years. My neighbour had a cat live 31 years and he always had something interessing to brag about.

No, I'm sorry but you won't. I am sorry to hear about your cat though. If you have more love adopt another kitty and you will get different loving from the new addition and you will also give him/her some different loving. But, you never know you might get lucky and some of his best characteristics will be in this one. Hopefully not the ones where he goes up to strangers. I love the part about the water though, normally all cats dislike water. Good Luck!

I had a cat that had most of these characteristics. He actually chased a whole pack of beagles off of our land! He was the best cat ever, but he had to be put to sleep when he was 12. We are still looking for another like him, and it's been many years. We've never given up hope, because we know that they are out there, you just have to find them!

Good Luck!!

Cats are one of a kind, just like humans. You can try to find another cat that adores you(provided that you adore it), but no cat will be the same. You will most likely find another cat to your liking. This is a world of cats. And dogs. Whichever.

Each cat is an individual. Putting expectations upon another cat to be like your lost cat is unfair to both of you.

You are never going to find two the same.

When you get your next cat, learn about that cat him/herself.

Sorry, you won't find one that's the same, but there are others with their own special ways. Don't expect a direct replacement, because you will probably be disappointed. Most animals are pretty cool if you learn to appreciate their personalities.
