14 too young to date?

Question

im 14, theres this guy i really really "really" like and he feels the same way.
i know people say "there is no age limit on love" but im just wondering...we meet at church every sunday, and hes a really good christian. too young?

second question, if you saw a couple that was 14 at CHURCH...(if your not christian lets pretend) :p
what would you say

At that age, I think it might be too young to have a serious, committed relationship, but not too young to go out with the opposite sex. As long as you guys aren't doing anything physical beyond holding hands and maybe kissing, it really isn't that bad.

As far as seeing a young couple in church, I don't think I would look down upon them because "they are too young to date," rather that they are too young to start getting serious. You guys are going to have plenty of years ahead of you to start considering serious, long-term relationships, now and the coming years should be the time to have fun and date around ( in a non-promiscous manner) to see what you like in a partner.

I'm 21 and I am still having fun in that aspect of my life. Have fun, but try not to push for anything too serious because there is still plenty of time for you and you are still too young to know what is best for you relationship wise.

I find 14 a bit young. Just wait until high school to have a relationship. It's just that you can't do much when you don't have a drivers license. If you really like this guy then go for it. =]

If I saw a couple that was 14 at church then it wouldn't bug me unless they were making out then that's just ew.

i'm a christain and i starting going out with the guy i really care about about 5 months after I turned 14 he felt the same way so we didn't see a problem there with a dating age no one tells us were too young either even the people that go to church so no i don't think you're too young if you really care about each other

Now that I am older it does seem almost too young to date at 14. But I also know how mad i got when people would tell me that. So my final answer would be no it is not. Yes 14 may be young , but if u are mature I think u can handle that whole dating game.

Yes 14 is way to young to be dating. It's not to young to be interested in the opposite sex, but as far a dating, YES it is. If I saw a couple that young anywhere, even in church, I'd still say it's too young for you to be "a couple".

i think 14 is more than a reasonable age to start dating.

if i saw a couple at church that was 14 and 14, then i'd probably feel jealous. not many people can get boys or girls their own age

As long as you don't do age-inappropriate things, I see no reason why you shouldn't date him, and so long as you weren't making out in the church but were treating each other with affection and respect, I think most people would be ok with it. It's nice to have experience before you start pursuing really serious relationships later. It would be good probably to go on group dates initially, too, to make sure your parents are comfortable with it.

No, your are not to young to DATE. Age is just a number. You can't fight love to please someone esle. If I saw a couple at church your age I would say" They look good together". As long as your not trying o have sex. Wait until your at least 16 to do that.

yes, 14 is too young. if you were my kids, i would let you go to church, school functions. i would make arrangements with his parents about dropping off and picking up. (his parents take you to the function, yours pick you up for example)
in today's world, with all of the sex, drugs, and alcohol even christians can get addicted.
it's too young. he'll be there when you get older.
