I have already asked multiple times about the lights I see at night but there weren't any good answers. Some said it was in my head so I set up my webcam before I went to bed. It was too dark for my webcam to see anything but I could definitely hear the tapping sounds. I could only record 1 and a half minutes so I'm not sure about the flashes of light. The sounds are definitely not in my head. This maybe isn't the best section to ask but I want answers from intelligent people. Heres a link to my previous question about the lights: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlN1_2_I1dBdBRI.NLLfhJfsy6IX?qid=20070119160406AA7U7bj

I am wondering if the lights you are seeing is like the auras some people get before migraine headaches. I get the lights but not the headaches. I also sometimes smell something weird or hear a high pitched squeel. It was explained to me as a trick in your brain from a momentary surge of blood in your brain. Since it is when you are lying down at night I think it might be possible. PS the first time I saw the lights I got up and looked out the window because I couldn't figure out what was going on I thought a Thunder storm was coming.

My eyes do that when a sound startles me and my eyes are closed. I attribute this to a wave of electricity through my brain that my being startled sends. Usually the sounds are the house settling, but last night I am convinced there was a possum under my bath tub. We also have rats that climb in our walls. I would say to experiment with the timing. If the light comes after the sound, or really close to the same time, then it might be harmless brain waves. It happens to me during the day any time my eyes are closed. The more startling the noise the brighter the flash. Wood makes cracking sounds a lot when temperature changes. Also, around here there has been a lot of wind which causes static. Static makes a snapping sound. Our blankets do it when we move lately. Static might explain the lights too.

I'd suggest seeing a physician and explaining what's happening. Like some others have said, it could be a form of epiliepsy or diabetes, or something much more serious.

You could hear the tapping sounds on the webcam? Whats the cause of that sound?

I suggest seeing the doctor and getting some tests done to rule out the obvious.

Does the tapping or lights happen if you sleep in another room? If you are absolutely sure that it's not in your head maybe some paranormal activity going on in your house. Also you could have some sort of sleep-wake disorder. You might want to see a dr. just to r/o anything serious.

If you are certain the the lights are not in your head.

I'm guessing it's your next door neighbor welding something.

welding can cause an extremely bright flash of light, and can cause a clapping tapping sound as you've described, i've once experienced this from some one who was welding on their cement truck across the block, i thought it was lightning at first but the sound was way different.

first component to do is connect a strong floor (adverse) to the body of the stereo then the different end to a strong sparkling (get rid of paint to bare metal) body of the motor vehicle, (also disconnect the exsisting floor cord because i imagine you've it linked to the lighting fixtures circuit, often the blue cord out of your stereo is linked to the lighing circuit so once you turn on the vechicle light fixtures the exhibit on the stereo coinsides with the dimmer of the sprint light fixtures) more recent vechicles have alot of plastic so make effective the metal is linked the the "body" of the vechicle. you may attempt a non everlasting cord to the adverse of the battery also to verify. this would also been a difficulty with the undesirable reception of your previous unit, the antenna needs a strong connection the the adverse as well because the stereo chassis. strong success!

One time I was lying in my bed and I woke up but my eyes were not open yet and I heard this crinkling go back and forth side to side around my bed. Kinda like surround sound. I opened my eyes and I saw static moving in the same direction that the noises were coming from. When I tried to move I could'nt. I tried to yell and it came out a whisper. I finally got my fingers and arms to move but couldnt speak very loud. I picked up my phone and called my mom who was sleeping in the other room. When she opened the door it stopped. Wierd.
I dont know if that helped or not.
You should talk to a priest, a doctor and your mom. I did.

Well maybe there is paranormal activity in your house, or maybe your brain is extra sensitive to some electromagnetic waves that are around you... try sleeping in a hotel room, or friends house, see if there is a difference and also try sleeping blindfolded...that can somehow tell if it is in your or something weird is going on... you maybe a medium and not even know it

Maybe you are experiencing poltergeist or ghost activity. Why don't you invite a psychic or a paranormal investigator to your house?
