Physically it is easy to be ready--mentally is something else. Usually the age is a big issue. Young folks having sex is usually for all the wrong reasons. It is even more manly to wait and have sex with a loving partner that you really care for. You don't find that at 16 in a car and drunk. Most guys only wind up bragging to their friends about who and where they had sex with---do you want your name used like that???Most bragging is exaggerated---the guys should only have as much as they say they do. Typical kid stuff. Disease and unwanted babies at 16 or 17 or 18 can ruin a future that you might have had. That is a fact. So he may be up for it but definitely not ready---no matter what persuasive words he uses. Be careful and give it all a lot of thought---good luck

Ask him this question......."Do you know where can I find a real Man"?
-if he answers "YES, Right here" then he is ready.
-if he makes a cool joke; example "NOT on this PLANET" then he is probably there but not yet ready. Give him a hint that he might be The Real MAN, by saying "Jeeesus, I think I am starring straight at him"..........if he acts akward then you can always get away with saying "oh no wait you're not Jesus sorry kiddo"
-if he says "I dunno" or ignores the question then he is defenetly not ready for sex or to be a real man. He is just another grown up boy who never finished his puberty.

Everybody is being very immature about this.
If you are considering sex, you should be comfortable enough with him to talk about it. If you are uncomfortable talking about sex, then I really advise you wait.
Bring it up, talk to him. Just because he isn't jumping your bones, doesn't mean he isn't into you.
