unfortunately, the burn will not heal by wednesday. burns take around 2-3 weeks to heal for minor ones such as yours.
aloe vera gel is the best thing for it. you can also use vitamin E oil once the burn has scabbed over to help minimize any scarring. other products such as lotions, creams, or ointments can trap germs and heat, making the burn worse.
make sure to keep the area clean and dry. no need to cover it with any type of bandage-air will help it heal quicker.
for pain you can take 200-400mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
watch for signs of infection
-increased redness or swelling to burn area
-the burn begins to drain any type of liquid (pus)
-you begin to run a fever of 101.0 or higher
if you have any of these symptoms-report to your dr asap to get antibiotics

If you had A &E ointment or Desitin (both diaper rash ointments!) and used it when it happened, it would have helped with the bron scarring, but at this point it's just going to heal in it's own pace. Keep it moisterized at all times with vaseline or the two aforementioned creams, although desitin is a bit stinky due to cod liver oil which is a miracle worker on burns but is pretty fishy smelling (so it's not for going out in public).
Your only salvation is concealer. If you don't have one, just buy a tube at any walmart or target and apply it on your lightly moisterized scar. It will make it pretty invisible and is a great short term solution.
Hope that helped.

The over all best thing for burns is aloe and burn cream. The aloe is a natural healer. Dont cover the lesion let it air dry and keep it clean. Avoid using make up on your skin until it heals completely. A burn heals at its own pace with your bodys immunes system.

It won't happen by Wed. Don't let the skin dry out there and cover with a bandaid. The new skin will take a while to grow back. Sorry.

i'll tell you one thing you need to make sure your tetanus is up to date and for this reason you should go to the er. no seriously, tetanus is a serious thing, you need to get yourself immunized every five years. I work in an ER and we see lots of burn victims whose tetanus immunizations are neglected, it's important since tetanus, also known as lockjaw, can cause paralysis and death by asphyxiation. while your cosmetic concerns are important, it is also important to face facts and realize that your burn will leave a scar, and while there are many treatments out there and many cosmetic specialists who will tell you to do this and that, there will be a scar, and it is important to be logical and do the things that can prevent loss of life, which includes getting your tetanus updated if you have not had it in the past five years. the er can refer you to a dermatologist or plastic cosmetic surgeon who will help you with treatment of your burn.

I once got burnt by hot water. My wife gave me some vitamin E gel tabs, I broke them open and rubbed it in. I have no scarring. Worked good.
