I have a bad toothache for which I want to take advil but I also wanna take dayquil for my "cold" symptoms...is it bad to take both?

A reference would be helpful

Well, if you take them together you can look forward to either a bleeding ulcer, failed liver, or failed kidneys.

What fun!

Stick to one pain killer at a time and don't overlap the timing on them.

I believe Dayquil already contains Acetaminophen which is the pain reliever used in Tylenol. You would in essence be doubling your dose of pain relievers and mixing it with a different pain reliever since Advil's active ingredient is Ibuprofen. So it is not advisable to take both.

Yes I believe it's a bad cobination if taken together.
