toothpaste! I mean really. its cold enough to suppress the swelling and reduce pain from the burn. try not to put bandages or dressings. sometimes cold water or ice can be bad. rush to the e.r., by the way get ready for a "anti tetanus serum" shot once you see the doctor, it will really hurt! hope your burn heals fats, good luck!

S. is right and cold wet clean cloth with ice inside held on the burn during transport wouldn't hurt either. Beware of tissue damage from too much cold but you do want to cool it down.

Due to the possibility of infection, it is crucial that you see professional help. If ignored, infection will not only cause scarring but if you haven't had a tentis shot lately you could end up with lock jaw or a similar condition.

There are major arteries in the throat, so you really should get yourself to a doctor, quick. An ice pack should help too.

You should really go to a Hospital immediately!....it could be a deep burn...your neck is a pretty sensitive place to get burned. You could go into respiratory arrest....which means you could die.
